STOP TALKING!

What happens while mommy is gone...
Jared: "Emma, please take your clean clothes to your room and put them away."
Emma's reaction; whining and complaining about having to do something.
Jared: "Stop whining, you dont do any jobs around here you can put your clothes away."
Emma's reaction; pouting and disapearing to go do her own thing. Then Jared tries to explain to her about putting her clothes away, not complaining and sassing, etc. and all Emma is doing during this time is ignoring him and writing in her notebook. A few seconds later she gets up, goes to her room and hands him this piece of paper...

HANNAH HOMO!

Who is going to come and save me from myself and help make me cool again?! Long past are the days of rocking out in my car to Metallica and Ozzy or going to Punk concerts, etc. On Monday night as I was driving to a PTO meeting (yes, I know I need help with that too) I realized the radio was set to Radio Disney, ordinarily since Emma isn't in the car with me I just change the station, well not that night. They were playing a Miley Cryus song which I secretly like so I sang along to it and then when it was over I was about to try and be cool again but before I could change the station a Hannah Montana song came on that I also secretly like and what did I do next? I turned up the radio even louder and sang until I got to my meeting. Someone save me from myself please!

Here are the most recent pictures of the boys. This is baby "A", Tyler. They can never get a picture of his face because he constantly hides it. But after almost passing out again and having the room filled with medical people to help me, I think they felt sorry me and tried extra hard to get a picture of his face for once. They finally went a got a beeper and held it up to my stomach and that made him move but he was NOT happy about it and made a pouty face and covered his ear with his hand. This is baby "B", Tyson. No fun stories about him, we got his face as usual.
This picture just makes us laugh. Some day when the boys are older I think Tyler will get great joy out of it because he will always be able to say to Tyson, "you've been a butt kisser since the womb!"

CONTEST WINNERS!

This morning we went to another Radio Disney event in the valley (because they are free and great entertainment for Emma) and Jared had never been with us before so Emma was extra excited to have him along and hopefully get to participate in one of the dad and child games. All the way there he refused to play things with her and as soon as we got there they were looking for parent/child combos to play their next game and Emma really wanted him to do it with her but he wouldn't. Thank heavens Emma has her dad wrapped around her finger because after her sadness as soon as they did their next parent/child game Jared grabbed Emma and they went to play. They did so good they won! It was at a bike thing this morning in Tempe so the prizes were related to that and they won a helmet, knee pads, wrist pads and a t-shirt. Emma was so excited for their big win :) I apologize for the picture quality, they were taken with my phone.

SPLISH SPLASH!

Our neighbors across the street have a pool party every Friday night and we go over there for dinner and swimming (in their heated pool, otherwise we wouldn't go) and Elias is becoming quite the fish. He is totally in heaven when he is in there. He will kick his legs, blow bubbles, jump off the side into the pool, go down the slide, chill in the hot tub, he just loves it and the best part for us is afterwards, he crashes hard and we wont see him until the morning :)
I was going to include another picture of myself but I am too lazy to get prettied up so here is my fat info: 28 weeks, 28 pounds gained and my belly is now 10 1/2 inches bigger.

1 EGG, 2 EGG, 3 EGG, CANDY!

We have decided that Easter is Elias' favorite holiday! You get to play outside all day long, hunt for eggs and then eat the candy inside, could it be any better?! Today is recovery day from a long weekend but a great weekend. Saturday morning we had our annual Jensen Easter Egg hunt and activities with lunch to finish it off, then we went to the annual Rodgers Easter Egg hunt and found more eggs, ate more food, then Sunday morning the kiddos woke up and found their baskets and more eggs from the Easter Bunny and then Sunday night was dinner at my family's house.

Elias was so fun to watch. He would hunt for a couple of eggs and then pop a squat and eat all the candy inside. Emma was sad when she woke up on Sunday and couldnt find any eggs in the backyard left by the Bunny, some meanie Bunny decided late Saturday night it would be really funny to hide them really good so she couldnt see them in the morning.

POINTLESS BABBLE

Long story sorta short. Emma decided she wanted to start taking dance classes from SAS Dance Studio so we decided to try out 5 different types of classes to see which one she would like better. After trying all 5 of them one of her teachers invited her to try out a combination class that prepares them for the dance team which you have to try out to be on. We took her to the class and she fell in love so now she gets to go and take tap, ballet, jazz and tumbling. We are so excited for her and proud to say that she was good enough to be invited to this invite only class and she is dang good, she is even in the front row for the recital. Can you tell I am a proud mom and living my wanna-be dancer dreams through my daughter :)
Ask and you shall receive. Some of you crazy people have been asking to see a picture of me preggers and all the fat info that goes along with it, so this is the only time I will ever divulge that info to you so enjoy! As of 24 weeks along (2 weeks ago) I have gained 22 pounds (3 more than I did with Elias) and my stomach has expanded 8 1/2 inches. I will update my fat to you next time I go to the dr :)
Look how thrifty I am or how cheap, whatever. We saved all of Emma's clothes and after realizing that our boys probably wont want to wear them we decided to save a few for her as keepsakes and then sell the rest to buy myself a double jogger for the twins. We ended up selling almost 6 of these sized containers. Check out this beast, I am totally in love with it.
This is obviously not the actual picture from the event because it grossed me out to much to stop and grab the camera (which is surprising since I stop and take pictures of him eating poop). Jared had just left for work and Elias was whining for him and wandering around the house looking for him. He headed back to our room and then a minute or two later it got quiet so I thought I would go and see what he was up to. I found him with what looked like a sucker in his mouth but upon further investigation it turned out to be a Q-tip left in the trash can after being used in some one's ears dipped into our toilet! mmm tasty! What flavor would you call that, peed ear wax?!

FINALLY, I AM 6 YEARS OLD!

What a day Emma had yesterday. At 7:15am her many birthday phone calls began from Uncle Bryant in Mexico, to the Fa'anunus in Chicago and all the way up to Aunt Ashley's second grade class from Utah. As soon as she saw her teacher at school she ran over to her and started naming the people who had called her to tell her happy birthday and then she says, "but you haven't told me happy birthday yet", luckily her teacher was able to fix that right away.

At Emma's school you cant bring in treats for your birthday because too many kids were only bringing in a few for their friends and leaving the rest of the class out and hurting their feelings so they did away with it but they are lucky enough to be able to go to the library and pick out a book for their teacher to read to the class that day (what lucky kids). So being the ever exciting/pushy/over bearing/whatever parent that I am, I emailed her teacher and told her that Emma would be bringing in a book to school that day about a girl who ate too many pink cupcakes and turned pink and what time would she like me to bring the pink cupcakes in for the class. That's right, I broke the rules and brought in cupcakes to school, muhahahaha!

At night, we took Emma to dinner and she requested we go to a place that sings Happy Birthday to people so Jared wanted to take her to Texas Roadhouse since they put them on the saddle. Every time the waitress would come over Emma would get frustrated with us because we didn't tell her that it was her birthday and she got a little startled and surprised when all of the sudden they round the corner and start clapping and shouting for her. She loved every second of the attention she got!

Literally for the last 2 or 3 years Emma has been asking to get her ears pierced and we always told her when she is 12 she can get them done (I don't know what makes 12 so special but its just some random year we picked) well when we realized we are only going to have 1 girl I decided to do anything girly she wanted and for her 6th birthday we were going to surprise her and get her ears pierced. At dinner she opened her present and saw the earrings and said, "why did you give me these when I don't have holes in my ears and I am not 12 yet....dad, can I get my ears pierced?" He of course says yes, and then she proceeds to ask me if its OK too, she hasn't quite figured out that you only check with the other parent when the first one says no :)

She hurried and ate her dinner so we could take her to get her ears done. She was totally stoked about it all night until we sat in the chair and the lady started cleaning her lobes and drawing the marks then that's when the nervousness set in.

She was a brave solider and didn't cry or get watery eyes and before she left the store she said it didn't hurt anymore and was as hyper and happy as could be. (this picture was right after she got them done so she is fighting to smile through her pain, ha ha).

This picture was cracking us up at dinner, it basically summed up Elias' day which was all about Emma. I am pretty sure he is thinking, "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!"
