Sometimes - ok most times - Emma and Eli's activities consume our whole weekend and bless the twins hearts - they get dragged around to everything and have to figure out how to entertain themselves on a boring field. So knowing the twins were going to have to do that AGAIN this weekend - we made the older two chicken quesadillas and then Jared took the twins out to Slim Chickens for dinner! They were so excited - you would have thought they were going back to Disneyland! They were hyper and shouting good bye over and over and then giggled the whole time they were there eating their chicken, macaroni and cheese and then their own desserts (that they might have brought home and Jared and I finished - Zorry!) These two thought they were the bee knees!

EVENING IN EXCELLENCE!
We had our Evening in Excellence! It took 3 days to set up - but it was worth it! The girls LOVED it! It was short and sweet and we really got to honor 6 girls! 5 girls completed their Personal Progress and 1 girl finished her Honor Bee! They got temple pictures, candy bouquets representing each value color, the girls got to put together a bouquet of flowers out of the value colors as they described what each value meant and the girls got to stand up and say how they have grown that year! It was an amazing night and I am so proud of all the girls! I am especially proud of Emma! She finished her Personal Progress in January during Christmas break and then she said she wanted to get her Honor Bee so she completed her 40 hours of service and re read the Book of Mormon again! Love Her and all that she accomplishes! I even got a sweet note from Emma left on my bed!

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND!
It was a Thanksgiving to remember. We didn't do the traditional Turkey Trot - which the kids were bummed about - but they quickly got over it when we went up to Nathan's cabin for the weekend instead. Turkey, mashed potatoes, cousins, Jack-Box, Christmas movies, We won the gingerbread house contest again, corn hole, late night card games (even cards that Grandpa thought we should be playing - insert eye roll), lots of food, laughs, football (including Shawn breaking his wrist), quad rides, morning runs, Emma doing makeovers on Millie and Millie doing lovely makeovers on Emma, etc! It was awesome! We love the cabin and the relaxing and the memory making!
