STUGO DISNEYLAND TRIP!

As soon as STUGO had their very first meeting welcoming everyone into STUGO and gave the parents a run down of what was to be expected for the next year...they also mentioned a trip to Disneyland and that they would be needing parent volunteers....don't think I didn't make Sara and Melissa jump on that! It was everything we hoped it would be! It was a loonnnnng ride on the bus, no sleep for 3 days, tons of food, fun and laughs and surprisingly the STUGO students were amazing and didn't mind at all hanging out with us moms. We didn't expect them to hang out with us but at the end of rides they would wait for us, they even waited for us while we made a bathroom stop. SUCH GREAT KIDS!! All the girls wanted to borrow Tyler's hoodie....he never wore it, only girls....in the middle of the night at a gas station potty break everyone was inside and in walks 2 beautiful girls and I hear them say, "TYLER! Theres my best friend!" and they run over to him! Tyson ran around with either Mikey or Jaycee! I know I've raised the boys right because they knew how to navigate the parks on their own and use the Disneyland app for everything! Proud mom moment! We love all these kids so much and I love watching my boys with all their friends! Now we want all the boys to do it again next year so us moms can get our Disneyland trip in again! Ha ha!

TYSON GOES TO NEWPORT!

Tyson really wanted to go to Newport for Spring Break but we weren't going anywhere because of STUGO Disneyland trip the next week. Some how he fanagled his way into a trip with August and Nash - ha ha! Tyler was invited but he was being a bum and didn't want to go. So Tyson headed to Newport and ran the streets with every other East Valley teenager! He had the best time and we are so grateful he gets to make these memories with his buddies!

THE END OF THEIR JR YEAR OF BASKETBALL SEASON!

Another basketball season has come to an end! We are down to one left, this will be very sad for me! Every boy who tried out for basketball at ALAQC that was already a junior there got put on JV and every junior that transferred in got put on Varsity. At least they got some playing time. These boys had another new coach for them, Coach Chuck. They didn't love this year that much, but we have our fingers crossed for their senior year! We had the best time watching them though and love their friends! We got to do a basketball retreat this year, a service project as a team, catered team dinners after every home game and this year we had the cutest basketball banquet decor. Our student section finally started stepping it up a notch and it was fun to watch Tyler join in and wear a suit coat, bow tie and join the ESPN table sometimes - ha ha! Our boys were the top 3 smartest players in the program! These boys have the best ball handling, best fundamentals and Tyler has one of the highest jumps of all the program!
