TYLER AND DADDY AT THE ASU BASKETBALL GAME!

Every time we get 2 tickets to some sporting event - Jared and Eli are always the ones that go. I think because the twins come in a pair - we never think to split them up and always let Eli take the extra ticket since there is just one of him.

Last night we got 2 tickets to the ASU vs Beavers basketball game and we originally thought Eli of course - but then - duh! The twins can separate from each other! So last night for the first time - Jared took Tyler to a sporting event without his brothers with him.

Tyler was PUMPED!! He was so excited. He hurried home from soccer practice and took a fast shower, ate a snack and grabbed some money for food and parking and patiently waited for daddy to come home from Eli's baseball practice.

Jared said Tyler talked the whole time, about anything and everything and was only quiet when he was so focused on the game that he couldn't talk. He ate some skittles and got a poster from the game and wanted to make sure the other boys were awake when he got home so he could show them his ASU poster.

In the morning, Eli asked if he could bring in his autographed football for sharing time at school and Tyler quickly volunteered his poster - Eli politely declined so then Tyler made sure that Tyson knew he could take his poster for sharing time if he wanted too. He made sure that his poster got hung up while he was at school and as soon as he came home he ran and checked it.

I loved that this sweet boy go to spend some one on one time with his daddy.....now we just have to find something for Tyson to do with dad - because he is already asking for his turn :)

TYSON THE SKATERBOARDER!

Or Tyson the longboarder, whatever!  Last year he got a long board for Christmas and then didn't really do anything with it, he rode it a couple of times and then was constantly asking for lessons. This year on his Christmas list he wrote down lessons - so we figured he was pretty serious! We got him a new board this year that's easier to ride and got his 8 classes to help him. He loves it so much. Every Tuesday night he hurries and puts on his skateboard backpack, grabs his helmet and pads and patiently waits for the time to go. He loves it so much! He is 3 weeks into it and gets better and better each week! Love that this is something he wants to do all on his own without copying his brothers. He is such a cutie ridin' around!

Week 1!

ELI AND THE NFL EXPERIENCE!

Eli was lucky to get invited by his friend Brody to skip out of school a little early and go downtown to the NFL Experience! I didn't take him so I don't have a lot of details about it, but after I told him he was going in the morning as he was getting ready for school, we quickly changed his clothes into some Cardinals gear and then as I was doing his hair he told me, "mom, I can't stop smiling thinking about it!"

Then when I went to go pick him up early from school they were having a lock down drill and he was very worried about missing this and not being able to go and his teacher had to reassure him it would be ok and he would still be going!

Eli and Brody were there from 3-9pm. He came home on cloud 9. He would have told us storied all night long if we had let him, but finally we made him quit talking and get ready for bed. He was so excited to show us his bag of loot. His autographed football, the first girl ref in the NFL signed a flag for him, he got himself a couple of bags of skittles and then one for Emma, Tyler and Tyson, a Cardinals face tatoo and a tatoo of the Seahawks and Patriots - I was a very nice mom and let him keep them on for the next day of school, but the day after they had to get washed off!

He has continued to talk about this for the next couple of days and telling his brothers all about it and how they will get to go the next time! Sweet boy!

RUNNING CLUB!

These boys are funny, they have a love hate relationship with running club. Tyler did it because his brothers were doing it, but when it comes down to it - he hates running club -he would rather sprint short distances than run long ones. Eli just does it hoping to win and a get a ribbon. Tyson - he seems to really enjoy it - he for sure wants a ribbon to, but he just enjoys running a steady pace - way to go kid!

ANOTHER BUCKET LIST ITEM COMPLETED!

Stephanie and I have been trying to sign up for a Disney Half Marathon for 3 years - they always sell out way to fast - like the day of!! Finally - we were able to get in on one - we opted out of the half and went for the 10k instead because of the ridiculous prices, but it was the best race I have ever done and probably will ever do. We got Jared and Blake to sign up with us and we made it a couples weekend. Best money spent - best time ever. We flew out Friday morning, got our rental car and headed straight for the Disney Expo - we had 2 goals - get our race stuff and buy the Disney running shoes you can only buy at the races - mission accomplished!

After the expo we headed to our hotel, dropped off our loot and luggage and headed out to the park! We didn't stay all night because we had to get up at 4am to be ready to run the race by 5:30am! The start of the race was so motivating and so Disney - the theme was Star Wars and they spared no expense - including fireworks going off before each new leg started - everything was true to Disney style! We were giddy with excitement. We wanted the boys to not stress about staying with us so they took off and Jared finished first, Blake was right behind him and then Stephanie and I took our time - ran the whole race and stopped for lots of photo ops!

We started in Downtown Disney, ran along the outside of the park, came back through a tunnel with Darth Vader lights and his breathing and entered the park - it was amazing! The race was only 6 miles and we never trained for it and we ran it so good, but its so hard not to when you are running through Disneyland and California Adventure - you are so happy you don't even realize how fast you are going and you are running with the biggest smile on your face!

We finished the race, got our medals, took our pictures and got our Disney Run snack packs! Then we headed back to the hotel to shower and get ready for the day. We headed to a breakfast buffet and then hit the park until 11pm - we fell short of our midnight goal - oh well! They even talked me into riding California Screamin' twice - ya not my favorite, but oh well :)

The next day we hit slept in and then hit the park again until we had to leave to the airport. We just wanted to eat and ride 2 rides and thats what we did. It was an awesome weekend - so good - we plan on going again in 2 years!

I don't normally do things like this because they always seem to fall on a dance weekend, but I had booked this 6 months in advance - luckily for me I have great dance friends and Liz Orona gladly took Emma for the weekend and took care of and got her ready and I never stressed about it because I knew she was in good hands!

RANDOM CELL PHONE PICTURES!

These pictures on my phone make my heart melt - so I must get them in the book - they were all taken in 2014 though!

Twins second season of baseball in their dodgers uniforms! Eli showing off his new cool Heat uniform! Twins taking naps together is always the cutest! Tyler just handles his business himself, the remote control car needed new batteries so he took it upon himself to handle that! Mrs Lapham suspected that Tyler might have a hearing problem so she sent him to the school nurse and he failed that test. So we went back to the same doctor Eli went to for his ears. Fortunately for Tyler, he will out grow his hearing problem - but in the mean time, he remains at the front of the classroom so he can hear her better! The boys working on some homework while drinking some smoothies from their daddy! Tyler, Tyson and Nash Hall decided to go under his trampoline and pull out all the weeds just for fun - what funny boys!
