OUR LAST PRESCHOOL GRADUATION!

Seriously it is a day I have been dreading. I am so not wanting my kids to grow up. Especially my babies. I am not ready for them to leave me all day for school. I want to reverse time.

These two turkeys made it through a whole year of preschool! Here they are on the first day of school!

They learned so much and grew so much! I have watched their hand writing improve by leaps and bounds, they are better at counting objects, Tyler totally gets money and counting it and Tyson is a super good reader. I am so proud of these boys! 

Tyler was pumped forever about graduation, but when the day finally came and he saw the people, he got stage fright. He wanted nothing to do with pictures...

 All 4 of my kiddos graduated from LMNOPreschool, seriously the best preschool ever! Ms. Nikkii is AMAZING!

Each graduation Nikkii has a theme and this year it was cowboys. Instead of marching in to the graduation song she had them ride in on stick horses. The way Tyler was acting at the beginning with no pictures I thought for sure he would never participate in this...he completely SHOCKED us. He was the first one and came riding in on his horse all smiles - on Nikkii can get him to do something like this! Jared and I were dying - so out of character for him, he won't even go up if his name is calling in primary to pick a song out of a bucket. 

 This is Logan in the middle. Logan was obsessed with Eli last year and when he found out the twins were Eli's brother, well a fast friendship was formed and all 3 boys always made sure they were sitting by each other and picked the same things as each other.

 Here is Ms. Nikkii spotlighting Tyson. Ms. Nikkii said that she always tells the boys in class not to pee on the ground and one day she told them she had to go to the bathroom and the twins told her, don't pee on the ground!

This graduation was totally bitter sweet. So happy for the boys and their next adventure, so glad all of my kids could be there to support them and that they all had the opportunity to work with Nikkii, very grateful my parents could attend every graduation, but so so sad this was my last one and that my kids are growing up. I will miss driving to Nikkii's every Tuesday and Thursday and watching my kids hop out of the car, grabbing their backpacks and laughing as they run away as fast as can be before I steal a kiss from them! I will miss picking them up after school and waiting for them to give her a high five before they can cross the street and then hoping in my car and telling me what they had for snack, telling me what naughty things other kids did and then asking me what store we are going to go to now. I love my kids. Happy graduation boys, we are ever so proud of you!

They are expensive and basically once you've see one, you've seen them all. But, every great once in a while they are able to capture fantastic shots! MUFFINS FOR MOM EQUALS EMBARRASSING!

Now all you good moms, don't go gettin' your panties in a bunch, I am not embarrassed about an ugly make-up job or crappy manicure, it's more the things my amazing daughter said - not so much what she said, because I know the sweet way she intended them, but how I was perceived.

After Emma being in school for 6 years, this was my first Muffins for Moms invitation. I have always been sad that Emma never did one, but I was super excited to finally be able to go. I showed up 8 minutes late because I couldn't bring myself to leave the bootcamp because it was the intense part so shame on me. I am sorry to Emma that I showed up late, all the moms were watching a sweet video the teacher put together and they were all teary eyed, but not me, because I was late, in workout clothes and sweaty!

After the video each student read the essay out loud to the class. Then it was Emma's turn. Bless her heart, I love everything that she wrote and I knew exactly what she was meaning by them, but I am not sure everyone else did.

It talked about how I loving finding a good deal (so true), but that I only shop with coupons (not true), it said that I am a great runner and that I am perfect at working out (thank you Emma for the kind words, oops was it obvious to everyone that I showed up late because I was working out?! Then she mentioned how her mom loves her so much and that she cleans the studio and works the front desk to help pay for it (totally appreciate and love that she is grateful for my sacrifices, but my pride is in the way because now I am thinking everyone thinks I am a cheap person, but DANCE IS EXPENSIVE and I refuse to write how much my monthly bill is because it will cause Grandma and Grandpa to have a heart attack).

The last part is my favorite embarrassing part. I have never read 50 Shades of Grey, nor do I care if someone has, but Emma told everyone that "my mom is like 50 Shades of Grey" and that's when all the eyes in the room turned and looked at me...NO PEOPLE, I DID NOT READ IT AND I DID NOT DISCUSS IT WITH HER, SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT THAT BOOK IS ABOUT SO TAKING YOUR JUDGE MENTAL EYES AND LAUGHS SOME WHERE ELSE! She did go on to list a bunch of very nice qualities she thinks I possess, but in the end tied it back up with "and that's why my mom is like 50 Shades of Grey."

I told this story to Jared and we were cracking up about it, he asked if I was going to explain to Emma what that book series was and I refuse to tell her because she was so proud of her essay and even commented to me how her essay got the most laughs (they were laughing at me, not with me, but that's ok my love, you did an amazing job) so I refuse to let her know and take the wind out of her sails. I do however want to blog this so that many years down the road when she reads this, we can laugh together at our muffins for moms experience :)

HANDSOME FART PANTS

Two stories that made me giggle all within 5 minutes of leaving  preschool water day.

The twins were talking about a hamburger and french fry eraser...
Tyler: you got the "hang-a-mer"
Tyson: no you did
Tyler: no you did
Tyson: no you did
Tyler: Fine! You're a fart pants!

and that was the comeback that shut him up and ended the conversation :)

Tyson was talking to Tyler and it went something like this, "all the girls kissed me on the lips and like me because I am so handsome!" Then Tyler just giggled as if this story was seriously true!

TWO TRIPLES!

My heart is full today of love and pride for this little guy who had an amazing game last night. Not only did he get his first triple ever, but he did it twice! So proud of our little man :)

Tyson's Hot

Tyson came up to me today and said he couldn't go to church because he had a cold. I told him I was so sorry and having a cold meant he couldn't have ice cream after dinner. He then perked up, got a smile on his face and said he was fine; but then trying to come up with another excuse why he couldn't go to church, he felt his forehead and said he had a hot.

Eli on How to Impress Girls

Eli was getting ready for a birthday party and decided to wear a hat. I asked him if he should wear it backwards and he said No because Emma told him that girls in her class like it when boys wear their hats forward. Good to know Eli, thanks.

By the way, since when is Eli interested in what girls think?!
