Random spring things I want to remember...Della and Emma came to visit. Tyler doesn't want to hold her, but if you put her by him, he will touch her and it's the cutest! Tyler and Tyson spent every Sunday going to Mission Prep in our old stake with the Brooks! Jared surprised me with the shoes I wanted AND the expensive church outfit! Sara and I kept going to the Temple once a week! We had our ward Senior Sendoff! Some random kid who showed up new that week so we let him come last minute and never saw him again, ha ha! Tate, Tessa, Lilly and Lynlee! We let Tyson get instagram so he could join Austin Brown's dunk ball league! Sara and I showed up to help Doorly move and were dressed the same! We took the youth to the Easter pageant! I needed to go get my toes done at a place because Jessyca was off for a month so my mom and I went together! For St Patricks Day I gave the boys a green basket filled with green treats! And Brasser got his mission call and it was fun to show up and see some of Eli's old buddies and they even facetimed him so he could watch it live!

EMMA'S THYROID SURGERY!
After Emma kept passing out at work, not being able to communicate in complete sentences, several trips to the ER, it was finally discovered that she had Graves Disease...a form of hyper thyroidism. She was in the middle of a "thyroid storm". A traumatic event can bring this out and I guess giving birth is one of those. This has answered a lot of questions...hyper makes for fast metablolism, can mess you up mentally, it explains her passing out spells she had in 5th grade when the school sent her to the hospital in an ambulance. After a lot of dr visits, different meds, talking to different people...Emma and Hunter decided the best medicine would be to have her thyroid removed and which would switch her to a hypo thyroid and it would make her more mentally stable and a much better functioning human.
Jared and I went up there for the weekend of her surgery so that we could help with Della while she recovered and that way Hunter could focus on her and her healing! Sara was so kind and kept the twins for us and we jetted off to Idaho Falls.
We spent the weekend taking Miss Della Doo on walks, errands, a trip to the zoo, to the Idaho Falls Memorial Day memorial (we even sponsored a flag in Grandpa Tuffy's name), gave her baths, snuggled her, played with her, we went to Colton's birthday dinner, I washed Emma's hair and french braided it like the olden days, we stayed 1 night at Emma's place while she was in the hospital and the rest of the trip we stayed at Stephanie's house, we took them to dinner the last night and ate in the park...it was the BEST weekend!! Jared said he always wants to leave them better than we got there so we left them with gas, some food for meals, bought them drinks, etc!
Heading to the airport though is when things changed...Jared did NOT feel good. He was verbalizing it a little bit, which was huge for him, but you could also see it on his face. We got to our seat and during the boarding process and the air is not on and he says, "Shit! I am going to pass out" I told him no he was not and I started to fan him. I got up and told the flight attendant he was going to pass out and I needed an ice pack. I went back to Jared and kept fanning him and then....it happened....HE PUKED EVERYWHERE! He had his hoodie on his lap so I held it up to his mouth, he kept going, so I took my hoodie off, then I ran to the back to get trash bags to put stuff in and he puked again. The row behind us had to be exvacuated cause the vomit rolled to their row, the lady on our row switched seats, he had to change his clothes in his seat on the plane, we asked him if he wanted to get off or stay and he wanted to stay. Turns out right before he puked he was praying to Heavenly Father to take away the pain and as soon as he puked, he felt better...answers to prayers....even if it wasn't how he probably wanted it - ha ha! I had the twins meet us at the airport to drive him home while I got the car out of the lot and went home.
Tuesday night around midnight....Tyson started puking...by 2am Tyler had joined him. Their continued until I got them some at home IVs at 2pm and then Thursday morning I was sick but from the other end of my body.....not our favorite way to end the trip to Idaho, but we would do it again!

KATI'S CABIN!
Kati's cabin....just what the doctor ordered. Me, Kati, Amber & Megan went up just for 24 hours but it was perfect! We shopped around downtown Prescott, got donuts, olive oil, ate dinner, went on hikes, stayed up talking and just escaped life for a bit! A short trip but a fun trip!

TWINS 6TH GRADE CLAPOUT!
Evan though the twins are juniors...this would be their graduating year if they didn't repeat 7th grade...so we went to their Haley Elementary School clapout today! It was bittersweet to be back there...we spent many many hours in that school and it is filled with some of the best memories! They had some of the world's greatest teachers there! Mrs Birch the kinder teacher who was the only one willing to take both of them in class together! Mrs Lapham who was a tender soul to pay special attention to our Tyler boy! Mrs Tibbotts who loved our boys like her own! Mrs Dalton who decorated her room in superheros and then of course became their aunt! Mrs Sirianni 6th grade, Mrs Burton their PE teacher, Mrs Nephew their principal. Tyson showed me where he licked tongues with another girl, he also showed me where a girl told him "meet me here at 1:10pm so I can tell you something" (she had a crush on him). Tyson and Aften recreated an old pic from 6th grade! The time Tyson and Cody got in trouble in math and got sent to the hallway and then their teacher told them they could come back insdie and they didn't...so they had to skip lunch recess but I didn't want to punish the teacher so I told them they would come and do janitorial work instead after school...so they picked up trash on the playground, old bandaids and then scraped the scuffs off the hallway floors - the teachers all got a good laugh at it, but I won mother of the year - ha ha! It was fun for them to see old friends, laugh when people asked what they were going to do next cause the answer was finish high school, ha ha! They checked out the library, went to the playground and all the kids wanted high fives, etc. They even played some dunkball with some elementary kids and were cracking up! It was so great to go there and close that chapter! Love that school, love the people! It is a lot less sad to do this when they are juniors instead of seniors instead I know they aren't leavning me and I still have a year left with them - ha ha!
