SENIOR YEAR MORPS X2!

Emma asked Dylan Knavel to Morp with a fishing tackle box thing and he answered her with balloons and then another question - he also asked her to be his girlfriend. They ended up going to ALA's Morp together and then to Perry's Morp together. 2 weekends full of fun!  At Perry's Morp the theme was Morpchella and so for the day date the day before they went thrift store shopping and had to pick out an ugly outfit for their date, then went to dinner and then to Hoku's house to hang out afterwards. Then for Morp they went and took pictures, came over to our house for pizza oven and Sodalicious drinks and then went to the dance. Afterwards they headed to Breezy's house to hang out. Both great weekends, both great dances, same great couple.

7TH GRADE SOCCER!

This boy was determined to make the 7th grade soccer team. He hasn't touched a ball in a year, but I knew he had some good fundamentals in him, but did he have enough to beat the kids who play club soccer daily?! I called in the big guns to help him. Over Christmas break Kalie Germaine and Matt were so kind and met him at the park for a couple of hours and reviewed with him some soccer skills and scrimmaged with him to get him warmed up for try-outs. Try-outs would start as soon as school started. 48 kids tried out and only 18 made the team. We were pretty nervous for him to make it, I kept refreshing the screen waiting for it to update. This sweet kid had made the team! We were so excited for him! We called him out to the backyard and the kids got him with silly string as we shouted you made the team - it took him a couple of seconds to realize what was even happening! Jared and I had the best time driving from different junior highs each week to cheer on the San Tan team! Watching Eli play soccer melts my heart. He is so deteremined and doesn't back down and isn't scared of his opponents. He was even team captain! The coach really seemed to love Eli so hopefully he will get the chance to play in 8th grade if he wants. The season was awesome - short - but awesome! They lost in the semi-finals to payne sadly. Great Job Eli!! #32
