THANKSGIVING!

 Thanksgiving this year was more fun to me than in years past....probably cause it was the first time Emma had been home since we dropped her off at college! The boys LOVED having her home for the week. We took the boys grocery shopping one night to buy a thanksgiving meal for a family in need, I took Emma to get pedicures, we ran our traditional turkey trot, Jared smoked a turkey, all of us girls bought matching shirts cause we are cheesy like that and all the Rodgers came over (minus Ashley's family) plus Dalton. Life is good and we have a lot to be grateful for this year! 

FAMILY PICTURES!

 It's that time of year that we have a love hate relationship with pictures! I hate picking out the outfits, I hate getting ready, I love the results and I love going out to eat together after as a family - but the tradition really started out as a bribe! ha ha! 

LAUNDRY BASKET SECRETS!

 Laundry Day:

Me: Hey Elo go bring me Emma's laundry basket

Tyler: Noooooooo!

Eli: But it's empty

Me: I know but I want to use her basket to help me sort

While Eli goes to get it Tyler keeps saying no. Upon Eli's return we discover the twins have hidden all of their Halloween candy in there! Genius! 

COLD FACETIME!

 Never been more grateful to be living in Arizona! This is Emma facetiming me on her way to class! No thanks! Poor girl!! 

SHOVELING ROCK!

 Now that our trees are chopped down and removed and the new ones planted and I made Jared redo our front yard, we put in black mulch, new green hedges, ripped out old plants I was tired of, etc we decided we needed some new rock. We ordered 10 ton of rock for the front and backyard and we tried to hire a crew to come and shovel it all for us, but they never showed up and I was tired of waiting. So we reached out to the missionaries and asked them if they would come over and help us and we got the boys and their friends and we got it all down in 3 1/2 hours! We bought the missionaries some cookies and attached a few dinner gift cards on there since they can't accept payment and then we treated the boys and all their friends to whatever dinner they wanted. They all worked so hard and no one complained. Something about working with your friends that makes it fun! 

MUTUAL ACTIVITIES!

 Eli and the teachers quorum went hiking and then they also did a cake decorating contest! 

4 BOYS 1 GIRL GROUP TEXT!

 We have a group text with all of us minus Emma...that way while she is away at school we aren't blowing up her phone with stuff she doesn't care about....Well Eli must have been hungry at school and asked me what was for dinner.....Eli approved...Tyler not so much

TYLER TEXTS!

 While sitting at one of Eli's baseball games, it's cold and the twins are snuggled in a chair together and wrapped up in a blanket...their chair is an arm's length away from mine, I get this text from Tyler....I obeyed his cute little request the lazy bum....

CAR FULL OF BOYS!

 I went to church with 3 boys and some how an hour later I'm leaving with more than double...feeling very outnumbered...good thing I love all these stinky boys!
