YEARLY PICS!

This year I was to lazy and not feeling it in RJ's house to bother with finding coordinating clothes, etc for family pictures so I just did the boys! Easy peasy! They are such good looking handsome boys!

Twins are 7th grade part 2 and Eli is a freshman!

Tonight marks the last time the Jensen Tooth Fairy will fly to our house! Tyler finally lost his last baby tooth in 7th grade! It was a bittersweet night!

THANKSGIVING AT THE CABIN!

This year for Thanksgiving it was a Jensen year and the year we got to do it up at Nate's cabin. It was a lot of fun! Tons of food, tons of family! All the usual Jensen cabin activities with the added bonus this year of me and Jared making tik tok videos with Emma and Jared dressing up in a turkey costume and running around with candy taped to him while the cousins chased him and grabbed the candy! So grateful to be apart of the Jensen family!

CARDINALS STYFL FOOTBALL SEASON!

This will be the 2nd and last season of football with pads the twins will ever play! They hate it. They can take the practices, the heat, the pads, the hitting...they just hate going to the games because they are putting in as much work as everyone else but because they are the littlest on the team, they aren't getting any playing time so they hate it! Can't blame them! At least it was a fun season with all their friends. Carpools, eating dinners together, practicing together, good thing they were surrounded by their friends!

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL (JVB)!

I finally got my high school football player! Eli and Jake decided at the last minute in the summer they wanted to do freshman football! Eli loved it! He worked hard at all the HOT practices during the summer, football camp, practices after school, etc. He ate lunch all year with the football players, they were his friends now. He came home one day and told me to guess what "string" he was....he was 2nd string! He was so proud! He explained to me how they had 5th and 6th string kids so being 2nd string was really good! And for someone who has never played football before...he has a great point! He got decent playing time! We were so proud of him. I got to help with the freshman team dinners, worked in the snack shack a couple of times, we cheered him on every game and Jared made sure he always brought a bag of peanut m&ms with him to each game! One game there was a crazy kick return and Eli caught it and everyone cheered and then he got tackled right away and you could hear the disappointment in the crowd, but as the refs pulled all the players off him all of the sudden you see this cute little boy hold his arm up high in the air and he still had the football!! It was amazing!! At the end of the season Coach Ty Detmer sat down with each player and told them what they needed to work on for next year. I don't remember what he said to Eli, but I do remember that Eli said Coach Detmer was really excited to see what Eli would be able to do in the future because he knew that he hasn't hit puberty yet since he had no hair on his legs so he saw big things from him! (this ended up being Eli's only year on football because Coach Matt came over to ALA and did football year round but his sophomore year, Coach Detmer would always walk by Eli and say hi to him by name and try and convince him to come back to football!)

CORE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT WEEKEND!

It's always fun when you how up to play in a baseball tournament and your former Ignite teammates are there and join you! These boys won the tournament all the weekend which works out good for us and makes the drive all the way out to Peoria all weekend long worth it! (Even though Eli and a couple of boys thought it was be funny to flip the middle finger in the picture with their rings on that finger - grateful to Coach Matt for calling them out and then we made Eli apologize and I don't think he will be doing that again - ha ha!)
