FIRST TOOTH GONE!

So Emma didn't lose her first tooth until after kindergarten which was hard for her because she never made the stupid tooth chart and now Eli lost his before he started kindergarten...hope that doesn't hurt him for down the road, oops.

Eli has 2 big teeth growing in right behind his baby teeth. His first one was wiggly and he was freaked out about losing it. I finally told him that Stacia (Emma's dance teacher) was going to pull it for him because she loves to pull teeth, all the dancers have her pull their teeth. He acted like it was all fine until we were getting closer to her house and I could see the panic look on his face. He was very worried that she was going to give him a shot before she pulled the tooth.

We got to her house and she did exactly what I told him she would. She wiggled it first, saw it was ready and went and got a tissue and it touched his tooth and in 1 second it was out and Eli just giggled and giggled because it didn't hurt and it was over and he was sooooo happy!!!
The tooth fairy came that nice and brought him a dollar, he didn't seem that impressed, oh well at least he loved telling people he lost a tooth and showing them :)

SPECIAL WEDNESDAYS!

This year some of my friends and I got together and formed a little play group. There was only 4 of us in the group with 6 kids all the same age. We just rotated each week for whose turn it was to watch the kiddos and feed them lunch. The twins loved this! Eli and I loved it because it gave us some alone time. Some times that time meant Eli could play computer, iPad, DSI while I cleaned the house, other times it meant he came with me to Emma's school to help in the classroom, we would run errands together and some times we would go and do something fun together...but EVERY time involved a drink from Circle K and that's really all he cared about :) As long as he got his drink, he was good to go.

On our last Wednesday together I wanted to do something fun with him so we went to Peter Piper Pizza and ate pizza and played games. It was really sad for me. I am totally going to miss having my little buddy around with me. I love him to pieces!!!!!

4th GRADE DOWN (SO MANY MORE TO GO!)

I don't normally post on here when Emma goes from one grade to the next, but my mom tells me she is feeling a little like I don't care as much, um to be honest, I really don't. You went to school and you moved on to the next grade....no party necessary :) Am I proud of you for getting straight A's and all the other accomplishments, heck yes! Just don't see the need to jump up and down for it, sorry, love ya though! I did do the usual decorate the front door for her, but yes no jumping. To try and make her feel more special - here I am blogging it, although once she reads it, it will probably lose any points I tried to score with it, ha ha! Love ya Em!
Goodbye Ms. Landorf! We truly enjoyed you as a teacher for 2 years and are sad to see you go. We hope to have you again in Jr. High! (She is so amazing, one day she drove Emma home from school because Emma looked so pale and dehydrated she didn't want her go on the hot school bus so she drove her home instead!)

FINAL ROUND OF APPLES TO ZEBRAS!

We finished up our final round of Apples to Zebras. This time around the teacher was going to try and get the twins to sit at separate tables. That never happened, BUT they did let people sit in between them. Last quarter no one was allowed to sit in between them so they are making progress :) Apples to Zebras was a great program for my boys to attend and figure out how to sit through school and listen to a teacher. Now it is off to a real preschool!

This time around for graduation Tyson not only smiled but he also did actions and sang!! Look at him progressing, so proud :) Tyler, well, no singing or actions for him, but he did manage to stick his tongue out a few times at Eli so I guess that beats the usual serious straight face we get from him!

FATHER/SONS CAMP-OUT FOR ALL THE BOYS!

Finally, the year Emma and I have been looking forward to...the year all the boys would go on the father/son camp-out.

The boys were so excited to go and had been talking about it for months. They would tell me how boys go camping and girls go shopping, they are right! Sadly, I was sick in bed for 2 days before the camp-out and had a hard time functioning fully the day they left, but I can't let a little sickness get me down, me and Emma had to carry on with some good girlie plans. We went to dinner with the Parry girls and then we all went and saw The Avengers. We had a great time, but I look forward to next year when we can do a re-do and I won't be sick :)

The boys left for camping around 10am. They carried on the Jensen tradition of stopping and picking up lunch on the way up. As soon as they got to the camping spot and got all set up, the boys just wanted to sit inside the tent because they were so hot!
Then they explored around, played by the creek and even shot Jared's paintball gun. They loved it and were exhausted by night time. They even skipped out on the dessert after the fireside because they just wanted to go back to the tent and watch a movie. After 5 minutes of the movie being on, all the boys were sound asleep!
The next day they were home by lunch time and were so pooped from their super fun camping trip they crashed again at home : )

The rest of the stories you will have to get from the boys...that's about all I got from them. Although, I was told that Eli was brave to get down close to the stink bug and that Tyler and Tyson wouldn't because they didn't want it to fart on them!

MR. TYLER EVERETT!

Mr. Tyler Everett...He has done a few things lately that just make me smile that I wanted to write down so I would remember them.

~ The other day coming home from the gym Eli was upset because some big kid kept taking the ball away from him. I was trying to comfort him while we were driving home but Tyler was quick to help. His response to trying to help Eli was, "Do you want me to bite him?" I had to inform him that we don't bite people, so he said to Eli, "Do you want me to hit him?" Lucky for me we were long gone from the gym so Tyler wouldn't be beating anyone up for Eli!

~ I was eating a yogurt the other day and Tyler and Tyson wanted one. I told them there was only one left and it wasn't the kind they liked. Tyler ran to the fridge and pulled it out and showed it to Tyson and told Tyson, "see it's this one, you don't like this one, it has (whipped) cream in it!" Tyson agreed he didn't want it so Tyler decided he was going to open it. He couldn't get the foil lid off and brought it to me and asked me to open it. I opened it and gave it to him and he took it from me, stuck it on the island and walked away. I told Tyler he needed to come and eat his yogurt that HE opened. He looked right at me and said, "I didn't open it, you opened it!" He turned and left and never at the yogurt :)

~ Tyler is a closet singer. He sings when nobody is paying any attention to him. He sings very softly and sweetly. It one of my most favorite sounds in the whole world. When we are driving in the car and songs come on that he likes, he just sings them softly to himself and no matter what is going on I always pay close attention to him and end up with a huge smile on my face. It's my favorite!
