When the end of 2nd grade started approaching Emma new that dance try-outs would be right around the corner. She really wanted to make the competitive team, but to do that she had to have her splits all the way down. She kept talking to me about making the other team and I kept reminding her that she had to have her splits down and she wouldn't get them down if she didn't practice. The time was drawing closer and she still didn't have them down so we promised her if she had her splits down by the time try-outs came around we would let her have a Camp Rock 2 movie party with her friends when the movie came out.
Now, fast forward 4 months later...It was time to fulfill our end of the promise. We bought a Camp Rock party pack filled with VIP lanyard invitations, tablecloth, plates, cups, etc, borrowed a popcorn machine, picked up a few pizzas, chips, drinks, etc and had ourselves a great little party! It was quite well timed with Eli and Jared being gone together so they weren't around to bother the girls and me and the twins just hung out in my room playing with Lego's all night. The girls giggled loudly all night long and I got to sit and stare at my boys cute little faces all night - it was a win win for everyone.
