SOPHOMORE MOPRO!

Sophomore Mopro - or Mormon Prom. Emma didn't think she was going to get asked since most of her friends had already been asked and she hadn't and it was only a couple of weeks away. So one night she had Taylor over and Taylor's boyfriend and his friend and they were hanging out in the backyard and then our doorbell rang late at night and I went to check it and Nate Bell had asked her. I went out back to go tell her to check the front door and she had no idea why and her and Taylor went and she almost started crying she was so happy and then her and Taylor started jumping up and down and screaming with excitement. Before Nate had asked Emma we were at his house and had a joke about how he would never go to the store and buy his future wife tampons so when she answered him we did two answers, one with a box of tampons that said I would be "super" excited to go with you- he about died. The other one was a trail of small rubber ducks throughout his house that led to a sign and an Oregon Ducks shirt saying how she would be one lucky duck to go to mopro with him.

Little did I know my life was about to get crazy. We had hardly any time to find a modest prom dress. I am pretty sure Jared and I bought 13 of them - no lie, no exaggeration. She didn't like any of them or they weren't flattering on her, etc. We finally found the dress - phew! She was a knock out in it too! Then I told her how cute it would be if they did matching vans - she didn't like the idea at first, but Nate did. Ya basically everyone loved them, you're welcome Emma! They didn't get to go on the day date because Emma had mandatory cheer practice. Jenn was nice enough to do Emma's hair that night!  For dinner, they went to a friend's house who's mom prepared it all fancy, went to the dance and then hung out afterwards. They even went matching tie shopping together one day. Emma seriously had the best night ever!! So fun and even better that it was Nate, one of her best guy friends!
