EMMA TURNS 12!

WHAT?!?!? A BEEHIVE?!?! How am I this old to have a daughter be a beehive?! sheesh!

She is quite a fantastic young lady! She is super smart in school, a talented dancer, she has a great spirit about her and blesses the girls around her, she is learning, growing and maturing into this amazing person! 

Miss Emma wanted to go do baptisms for the dead on her 12th birthday since that is the first time she is old enough to enter into the Temple. After Grandma Rodgers called and woke us up at 6am to wish Emma a Happy Birthday from their cruise - we got up and got going on the day. We got the boys off to school and headed straight over to the Gilbert Temple. Since it had only been open for a day - she was the youngest person to do baptisms in the temple - ever! When the workers found out it was her birthday - they just knew what an incredible person she was to be there that day. Jared got to help her do the baptisms and they let me stand right there with the workers and watch and help her when she came out. I felt the sweetest spirit in there that day. She is such a great example to us.

After the Temple we took her out to breakfast and then dropped her back off at school with donuts for her class.  Then in typical Emma fashion - she wanted to go to dance where we dropped off more treats and her friends gave her the spanking train...

After dance we took her out to dinner and grandma and grandpa Jensen met up with us. Then we came home for presents and cupcakes with the family.

That weekend Emma had a sleepover with Ella, Bella, Jaelah and Kaitlyn. They spent the majority of the night at Flipside then we went to go tee pee Andrea's house, but Shaelon and Maddie were waiting for us and attacked us so then they hopped in our car and we went and tee pee'd some other dancers houses!
 

 

 That Sunday, Emma spent all morning getting ready for her first appearance as a Young Woman! Whitney informed us that several Laurels commented on how cute she was - YES!
