JR YEAR MORP!

Tyson was going to get asked by a couple different girls, but then his friends let them know he had a girlfriend and Lizzy was out of town over Morp so he didnt go, but Tyler man got asked by a girl named Natalie - so painful for him - ha ha!

Tyler was with a big huge group and had a ton of fun! They went country line dancing for their day date - dad and I would have paid money to be a fly on the wall at that event - ha ha!

Tyson and Lizzy ended up going to Nash's cabin with Nash and Cash's group for Morp and took Lizzy so at least he got to have some fun!

Love these boys having these high school experiences!

Morp theme was Disney characters and so Tyler and his date were Charlie Brown and Snoopy - not Disney but neither were a lot of them!

JARED'S 50TH BIRTHDAY!

We love this man more than life! How is he 50 already?! Growing up that seemed so old, but Jared doesn't seem that old! He is the best father, husband, provider and best friend ever! Today I let Jared take a nap and then I took him to lunch and tried to surprise him at the shooting range but he didn't want to do that so then we headed home and waited till the boys were done with basketball and then the 4 of us went out to eat and then we came home and he opened a couple of presents and we had cake! It was kind of an anti-climatic day because we already surprised him with a trip and then we had a magical surprise the next day! The boys had a basketball game and Emma and Della flew in to surprise him! Dabrielle picked them up at the airport and then they snuck into the house while we finished the game and then when we got home jared headed to our bedroom to get me some shingles meds cause I told him we needed to go home because my shingles headache was bothering me and when he walked in our room Della was on the bed waiting to surprise him! It took him a couple of good solid seconds to realize it was actually Della and what was happening! He said it was the best surprise ever!! Then that Sunday Nate and Jenn's family came over and we celebrated Jared and Jenn's birthdays together! Happy Birthday to our favorite human!

LYDIA'S MISSION CALL!

Lydia got her mission call on New Year's Eve. She invited Jared and I to go to her calling opening...Eli was so excited for it....we called him and he couldn't be patient. We gave the phone to Lydia and she started crying just seeing him and the anticipation of her call! She got called to the Belgium Netherlands Mission speaking Dutch! Her grandparents were born under the Nazi Regime in 1943 there and then moved to America in 1948. They speak some Dutch so it's really a very cool call to get to go back to where her family is from! Eli and Lydia are a little sad they won't be able to speak spanish to each other, but this is better!! Jared and I for sure felt the spirit as she was opening her call!

DECEMBER HAPPENINGS!

December was busy as always! Ariele got her mission call to Washington DC, Katy came by for a visit, we took the Stolworthys to the QC SXS (Queen Creek Side by Side) Light Parade - we loved snuggling Della and showing her the lights - even though she probably really couldn't see them, Chloe got her mission call to  Indepence, Missouri, we did the giving machine, the Mesa Temple Lights, Eli's buddies Brasser, Taevin and Nash came over and got some avalanche bars from me and came through the garage like old times, hugged me and got drinks from the bro....I was really missing Eli so they let me hug them and it warmed my heart so much - highlight of my week! Went to the Temple with Sara for our weekly temple trips, went to the boutiques with Tiffany and then with Aubrey, made a Christmas Wreath at the Hall Family Dentistry work party, went with Chloe and Trisha to the Aspen Ortho work party and the twins continued their weekly Temple trips with their friends and did some hot yoga with Aubrey, Amber & Chloe - its hot and hard to breathe, but I really liked it!
