We were so excited with our matching shirts to finally go on the Disney Studio Tour! We got to see the Archives, see the Legends hand prints, see the movie theater where they preview all their movies, see the giant movie sets, see inside where their offices are, see the underground tunnel where they ship things across the whole place. Walt Disney for sure created himself an amazing empire! We LOVED the studio tour will won't soon forget it!

A long time ago, I started participatiing in Disney Movie Rewards program. I probably quit collecting points like 10 year ago, but still had the account. Then earlier this year I got an email saying if I didn't cash them in soon I would lose them all. So I cashed them in for a free Disney Studio Tour. I knew my boys and Jared wouldn't love it as much as me and Emma, but it came with 8 tickets and it seemed a waste. So I texted my cousins and we all went! Thank heavens Robyn was coming because in true Robyn fashion she planned the whole trip. She called up Marilyn and we were able to stay at Aunt Renae's house. I haven't stayed there in 20+ years. I LOVED going to her house all the time when we would visit her and go to Disneyland. It was one of my happy places from my childhood. I loved the fruit wallpaper all over the kitchen walls and ceilings, the Arizona room, the stairs, the marble game, going and eating at In-N-Out burger (that's when they were only in California so it was cool to eat there and of course you had to buy a shirt so you could wear it to school and everyone would know you went there). On Saturday as we headed home, we drove out to see Aunt Renae at her assisted living place and had lunch with her and Sharon. It really made me and Emma miss grandma Joyce. I am so grateful for my grandma's siblings and how they were all like grandparents to me and knew me! Love my big family! I mean who else gets to call up their second cousin and stay at their house - who else even knows their second cousins?! I am really blessed and lucky!
