It's a big day in the Jensen house! Eli got his permit and Tyler got his braces on! (why do braces always make your babies look older?!) Tyler would go on to be super sore for a week and hardly eat anything - then we got him back in and had a wire clipped and that was a game changer! Eli currently spends time on Sundays driving around with Jared - mostly around Casteel High School.

RANDOM MARCH HAPPENINGS!
Jared and I got our first irrigation; we felt like quite the farmers! Emma was home for spring break and the first week we lived in our new house so she got to come with me to my work team building party at As You Wish! We went to the temple and did baptisms together as a family! Queen Creek was having a rodeo a mile from our house so I took the boys and we went and checked it out - we didn't have tickets to any of the big events, but we had fun eating food, walking around to the different vendors and watching the kids do things in the arena! I was finally back inside Perry's gym since Emma was a senior and it was so fun to see the State Cheer banners hanging up - that will forever be in the gym and Emma was a huge part of those wins! The twins practiced a little boxing with our new punching bag - ha ha! Emma had some rough times up at UVU this month and her roommates were very sweet to her!

BYE BYE BLACK BEAUTY!
Tyson was out helping me do deliveries for work and we only had 2 more stops to go. I was stopped at the light at Higley and Germann and I was waiting in the intersection to turn left. The light turned yellow so I was watching the cars so I could make my turn and I saw a car coming towards me, but they turned right into their closest right lane and that was it so I proceeded to go. I heard a noise and looked over and I see a car coming straight at us and I yelled "oh shit" Tyson looked up from his phone and then everything went black. When my eyes opened back up I realized what had happened. A 16 year old kid in a PT Cruiser ran a red light, hit us in the jeep while we were making our left turn and then we spun around and hit a Ford Explorer who was waiting to turn left going the opposite direction. I looked over immediately at Tyson and he was alive and not bleeding anywhere so I called 911 along with everyone else. We were delivering coca-cola glass bottles and popcorn so the bottles had broken and gotten soda on Tyson and he panicked that he was bleeding, but once we got him understanding it was soda he was good. I checked on the Ford Explorer and they were fine. After fire and paramedics came and checked everyone out, everyone walked away no problem, thank heavens! Tyson's arm starting getting bad and he thought it might be broken so the wrapped it up. Jared came down to help us. All 3 cars were totaled. I felt so bad. Our jeep was paid off and we had a life time warranty on it. Jared was so great about the whole thing and just kept saying, "maybe this was a blessing in disguise because the gas mileage on the jeep is horrible and if you are going to be doing deliveries every month a car would be cheaper. Insurance gave us a pay out for the jeep, almost 40k. We took it and sadly had to purchase our first car with it. We got a brand new 2022 Camry. We ordered it. After it was all said and done we ended up with about 2k leftover that we just put in our savings account. The boys are mad because the jeep was going to be their vehicle and now they get the camry - not nearly as cool - I couldn't agree more with them! I should have had Aspen Ortho pay the $1k deductible since it was for work, but I just did it and didn't want to be a pain. Alena ordered Barros pizza for us that night so we didn't have to worry about it and her, Annaleesa and Dr Hunsaker checked on us. RIP to the best jeep ever!

FRIENDS EXPERIENCE!
For Emma's 20th birthday - we lucked out and the Friends Experience happened to be in Phoenix! So we got her tickets. She said it best in her facebook post - so I will copy her words for this blog:
"you guys, i have the best mom. don't even @ me. she's amazing. she took me to the friend experience and i only cried twice and i'm trying not to cry while writing this bc it was one of the best experiences of my life! if you know me, you know i love friends. Madison Parry will tell you, i quote it daily. i've known the theme song since i was 2 (i think, Carol Rodgers Jensen correct me if i'm wrong). moral of the story; friends is the best show ever and the friends experience is worth every penny!! i took double the amount of pictures shown below, but these are the ones with people in them. shoutout to Andrea Ross for helping my mom out with the tickets and planning! you guys are the best!"
I am not sure I am the best, but I sure did enjoy doing this with her and watching her love it so much! As a parent, when your kids are happy, you are happy!
