Christmas looked a little different this year since we were at Rj's house. I made sure to get Rj a couple of gifts and fill his stocking for him, we didn't do Christmas jammies this year and instead me and my mom made them Christmas blankets, we opened gifts and then left for a little bit so RJ could have some alone time with Alyza Christmas morning and then we weren't in their space. Even though it wasn't quite the same...it really doesn't matter where you are as long as you are together! Christmas magic will go whereever you are! Here are the kiddos with their "big ticket" items...except Tyler's was not a lego set - ha ha! (and here is Jared cleaning off the backup camera and making faces into it - at least the kids humored him with laughter - ha ha)

CHRISTMAS ICE SKATING!
I love to find different activities to do together now at Christmas time that help bring in the magic of Christmas. This year I decided to take the family to downtown Mesa to go ice skating on their outdoor ice skating rink! This might be my new favorite activity because I think its the only activity where I am the best out of my whole family - ha ha! I skated circles around these chumps - ha ha! But we had the best time together and that's what matters...but also that I'm the best - ha ha!

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES!
December is my favorite because we get to spend all the time together as a family having fun and creating mems (as the kids say)! This year was no different...we wrote our letters to Santa and dropped them off at his mailbox inside Macy's Department store, we did our traditional Christmas Eve service project and this year we did it for the Salvation Army and we wrapped gifts at the mall, Eli went with Jake and Braxten to the Salvation Army and did a service project for them with the Jolleys, we went to Downtown Gilbert and did the Giving Machine and we went with RJ and Alyza and Dalton and her girls and did a hay ride looking at Christmas lights and then we also took the twins and all their friends! Love my people and this time of year!

ELI'S CAKE FROM SCRATCH!
Eli, Jake, Jackson and Braxten decided while they were at Braxten's house that they needed some cake. So they decided to look up how to make one from scratch and that's what they did. They even made the frosting from scratch, but it didn't make very much at first so they went back and added more ingredients to it! They documented the whole thing AND IT EVEN TASTED GOOD!! These boys are hilarious!
