TEAM FLASH!

Team Flash! What a team! Best team ever! Probably cause it was all hand picked! This was their 5th and final season together. The first two year we had a couple different kids on the team, but the last 3 years we were the same! Tyler, Tyson, Payton, Chiara, Dreson, Kian, Drew, Jack, Sophie and Mason! They were unstoppable!!! Undefeated the whole season and we only got into one fight with a team this year! Love them! We will miss this for sure! Tyler and Tyson were animals out there! They were so determined and scored so many, but then like the other players on their team, they would pass the ball to other players and help the others to score too! They all cheered for each other, high fived each other and supported each other! Jared, Rommie and Kalie were the best coaches! We even got matching shoes, shorts and sweat bands - thanks Andre!

CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP!

For the first time, all 3 boys got to go to cub scout day camp together! A few days before, Eli spent a lot of time talking to them about it and reminding them of all the things he got to do when they never went. They were very excited. It was nice it fell in the same time frame as the pioneer trek so all the kids had something fun to do for spring break. Jared even got to go and help on the second day. He thinks scouts are to crazy for him! ha ha! The boys had a great time and came home pooped both nights - pooped and dirty oh and smelly too! Their favorite thing was archery and now Tyson wants a bow and arrow for his birthday! Aye popee!

EMMA TURNS 15!

It was a pretty anti-climatic birthday - Sunday birthdays usually are. Still she had the best weekend! Friday before her birthday she had a pep assembly at school and when she finally went to class, Maddie had balloons, a muffin and gift card waiting there for her! It was so sweet and thoughtful. Saturday was the big freshman and JV State Championship cheer competition - aka fake state. It's real state for freshman and JV, but fake state for varsity. There girls competed again Red Mountain HS And Hamilton HS. Red Mtn was good and clean, but boring. Hamilton was sloppy and dropped some stunt groups, but had way more difficulty in their routine. It was a toss up as to who would win. They announced Red Mtn as third place and then I felt like a beauty pageant contestant as I was sitting in my chair saying, "hamilton, hamilton, hamilton".....the announcer called, "Hamilton!" Perry won first place!!! I could not believe. This little team that had been through so much, just kicked some serious butt! Of course, that meant I had to buy the dang $40 state shirt for Emma - she is lucky I was so excited for her and that it was her birthday - ha ha! I never buy that crap. I left her at the competition and headed home. She stayed and cheered on JV and Varsity. The next day was her actual birthday and she woke up to her favorite treats and Buddy the Elf and a birthday door decorated. After church, Tatum and Kendall stopped by and surprised her with homemade cinnamon rolls. She loved her weekend! We love Emma and the joy she has been to our family for the last 15 years! Stop time!
