It has been such a crazy summer so far - everyone has a different schedule going in a different direction and so Jared and I decided that when Emma gets home from girls camp today we were going to take the family to see Finding Dory (Emma has been crapping her pants about seeing that movie) and then to dinner at Mod Pizza. It was a great day all together as a family. I love it when we get to do little things like this together!

TWINS BASKETBALL CAMP!
So one of the gifts that the twins got for their birthday was doing basketball camp with Dreson, Retton and Diego. They had never done basketball before and they LOVED it! During the last day of camp Tyson came running over to me and said, Now I am ready for real basketball! These two were funny - they were aggressive little scrappers out there on the court - they are for sure ready for some young men church ball - ha ha!

TWINS BAPTISM!
It was a very special day. Tyler and Tyson got baptized on their 8th birthday. Stephanie and I had been planning this for months - almost years as we collected pictures of them growing up together to save for a video on this very special day.
June 11th at 11am Tyler, Tyson, Payton and Chiara got baptized together. We had a beautiful baptism and the spirit was really strong there. The girls were baptized first and then the boys. Then the girls were given the gift of the Holy Ghost first and then the boys. Only during the girls blessings, Tyson is trying to talk me into letting him go first - that seemed fair since Tyler was baptized first. Tyler was not having that. I might have missed all that was said during the girls because I was quietly trying to figure this out amongst these cute stubborn boys. Tyler is harder to please so he got his way, BUT let the record show - Tyson will be given the priesthood before Tyler - That's how we made it even! Phew, that's settled.
After the baptism, we went over to the Parry's house for a luncheon. We had a nacho and taco bar with carnitas, chicken, rice, beans, queso, etc. We had a boys cake, girls cake and combined cake. It was a very special day that we will never forget. The boys were thrilled with how everything turned out and LOVED the attention they got in their suits, and it was sweet to see that while all their friends were running around and playing, they sat quietly at a table with Chiara and Payton eating lunch all as best friends.
By the time we finished cleaning up the Parrys house, we only had time to head home and unload the car. The boys were awesome - even though it was their very special day, they were good with me leaving them and heading out to Emma's recital. She had to handle the weekend all by herself while I did the twins. I got there to support her through her 5th recital and then during the 6th and last recital of the weekend, Jared came out and we sat in the audience and watched her together. She was beautiful of course.
Then Sunday, we did a special dinner, twins choice, presents and an ice cream cake for them! We love these fart buckets and they make our life so happy.
