Eli played flag football on the Ravens this winter. They had a pretty good team. I love watching Eli play football - it was fun to see how much he grew since last season, he had a ton of flag pulls, interceptions, pick-6's, touch downs, he leveled a player trying to intercept the catch, he caught a ball from behind with one hand - we pretty much thought he was the bees knees - too bad we get so into the game that we can't video tape or take pictures anymore - sorry Eli - bad parenting on our part.
The only action picture I have - you were going to get that flag and you did

SNICKERS FOR THE WEEKEND!
We just had the first pet ever in our home this weekend - a guinea pig named Snickers! It is Tyler's class pet. They loved having him over. They begged and begged to let us take him out of the cage and run wild in the backyard - so we did - what a disappointment that was - did you know Snickers did not take off running like a dog - weird! Ha Ha!

VALENTINE'S DAY!
For the last 3 years Emma and I have been gone the weekend of Valentine's for dance. I was still able to set up a traditional scavenger hunt for the boys and leave them with a basket of goodies, but I wish I was home celebrating with the family. At least Emma and I are hanging out together!

DAD'S 70th BIRTHDAY!
Everyone came into town (except Blake and Cade) and we surprised Dad at Top Golf for his birthday. We ended up having so much fun that we bought an extra hour to play. We hit balls, ordered dinner and even got a birthday treat for him - donut holes that you inject with either chocolate, bavarian cream or raspberry filling. It was a great night and we can't wait to go back again with everyone!

RANDOM CELL PHONE PICTURES AGAIN!
These are all taken in the spring of 2015!
Tyler and Tyson got the medals in soccer that day! Eli was awesome in his flag football game with the Ravens! Bathtime!! Tyler's selfie - he thinks he is so funny! The twins insisted they were super cool with these sunglasses on and had to have their picture taken! The twins LOVE helping me make rice krispy treats - I only make them for these boys! Eli up to bat at Arrowhead park with the Heat - since I'm writing this post and its actually February 2018 - its funny to see how far back he is from the plate compared to where he stands now - but he has always been able to hit!

TYLER AND DADDY AT THE ASU BASKETBALL GAME!
Every time we get 2 tickets to some sporting event - Jared and Eli are always the ones that go. I think because the twins come in a pair - we never think to split them up and always let Eli take the extra ticket since there is just one of him.
Last night we got 2 tickets to the ASU vs Beavers basketball game and we originally thought Eli of course - but then - duh! The twins can separate from each other! So last night for the first time - Jared took Tyler to a sporting event without his brothers with him.
Tyler was PUMPED!! He was so excited. He hurried home from soccer practice and took a fast shower, ate a snack and grabbed some money for food and parking and patiently waited for daddy to come home from Eli's baseball practice.

Jared said Tyler talked the whole time, about anything and everything and was only quiet when he was so focused on the game that he couldn't talk. He ate some skittles and got a poster from the game and wanted to make sure the other boys were awake when he got home so he could show them his ASU poster.

In the morning, Eli asked if he could bring in his autographed football for sharing time at school and Tyler quickly volunteered his poster - Eli politely declined so then Tyler made sure that Tyson knew he could take his poster for sharing time if he wanted too. He made sure that his poster got hung up while he was at school and as soon as he came home he ran and checked it.

I loved that this sweet boy go to spend some one on one time with his daddy.....now we just have to find something for Tyson to do with dad - because he is already asking for his turn :)

TYSON THE SKATERBOARDER!
Or Tyson the longboarder, whatever! Last year he got a long board for Christmas and then didn't really do anything with it, he rode it a couple of times and then was constantly asking for lessons. This year on his Christmas list he wrote down lessons - so we figured he was pretty serious! We got him a new board this year that's easier to ride and got his 8 classes to help him. He loves it so much. Every Tuesday night he hurries and puts on his skateboard backpack, grabs his helmet and pads and patiently waits for the time to go. He loves it so much! He is 3 weeks into it and gets better and better each week! Love that this is something he wants to do all on his own without copying his brothers. He is such a cutie ridin' around!
