SAYING GOODBYE TO ELDER JENSEN!

 The day finally came...it was time to for Eli to fly to the Mexico CCM! This was harder than I ever imagined! No one tells you how hard it really is! There is no other place I would rather have him be...but dang! As soon as we got home there was an absence in our home that we knew would not be filled for 2 years. The emptiness hurts...but gosh we love this boy of ours so much and are glad to share him with the people of Peru! We love you more than you'll ever know Elias Grant! Praying for you and all the missionaries around the world! Only 24 Fast Sundays to go! 

(As soon as we walked into the house there was a palpable emptiness inside that kicked you in the gut the moment you opened the door! How is it possible that it could feel like this and he has only been gone an hour. Even Tyson walked in the house and sadly said, "so this is it?! just us 4??)

LAST GOLF TRIP!

Nash and Eli wanted to go golf together before Eli left for the CCM so Jared, Eli, Nash & Nate got up his last day of home MTC and hit the green together! They had the best time! Eli had to join in for a meeting on his airpods, but he still had the best time!!

END OF THE SUMMER SHENANNIGANS!

 The summer was BUSY!! Filled with many things I never want to forget!! Besides Hawaii, baby shower, Farewell, Open House....we also had random little things in there that I want to remember:

Saying goodbye to our Jake Cardon, Diamondbacks game with Eli's buddies, Tyson/Beau/Zac making steak dinners for some girls, Eli and some buddies going on a bros trip to Carlsbad for the weekend, Baptism Temple trip with the bros, Baptism Temple trip with Alyza, Temple Iniatories trip with Eli/Jake/Tosh, Sara and I go to the temple once a week together, movies with the boys to see the last Mission Impossible, Lunch with the Jensen Grandparents, Making cookies and visiting at Rodgers Grandparents house, freaking out when Eli's mission name tags arrive, saying goodbye to Katy Smith, saying goodbye to Quinn Arnell, being Ariele's escort through the temple, wearing matching denim to church, saying goodbye to Mr Rogers and getting his last bit of advice, giving Lydia a Priesthood Blessing, lots and lots of golfing for Eli and soaking up all the last little moments with Eli!!
