My new favorite thing about my friends having their kids getting married....all of us get together and help out at the wedding and help set up before and it really is just how we hang out together now! Serving our friends! It makes for the best time and I love these ladies so much!
Can't believe that boys that Eli hangs out with are going on missions now! It's crazy to think these boys who run around our house and out to serve the Lord! They instantly become so mature and grown up over night!

Sweet little Eli came home from his friends house and had his feelings REALLY hurt, a big misunderstanding, but he belly sobbed on my lap and I just held him while Jared talked to him. Then through his tears he said sorry how much do I owe you for the wall and Jared and I had no idea what he was talking about but he had punched a hole in the wall on the way to his bedroom. We couldn't get mad at him since he has never done anything like this before and because he was hurting so bad...but he did have to pay for it! Luckily Kohl Szymanski came to the rescue and cut us a huge deal and came out and patched it all up and I painted it! and ta-da! It's all fixed! Teenage years are hard!
Jared is taking after his mom! He is learning how to make homemade tortillas and he is really good and making them late at night for the boys so when they come home from friends houses or sports practices they have something yummy and filling to eat! He is the best dad!!
Senior Assassins!! Such a fun rite of passage! Eli is in a group with Jake Cardon and 2 other boys I don't really know. They got assigned to take out some girls and 1 of them happens to be a cheerleader so we tracked down her address and Eli and another boy waited outside her house early in the morning so when she left to go to cheer practice at the school they could take her out! Eli's only kill in the game! He ended up making more attempts, but none were successful. After 3 weeks his group was eliminated due to not taking anyone out that week! One kid attempted to get him while he left his workout, but was unsucessful. Such a fun time!
Me, Sara, Natalie, Bethany, Lisa and some friend I don't know decided to go to San Diego as our senior trip! Our parents let us go with no phones or anything! We took Sara's mom's suburban and off we went to the beach, etc. Her mom told us, "don't take my suburban across the border!" Oh don't worry Sister Jones, we wont! Instead we will just park it on the American side and walk on foot across the border without anyone knowing where we are! We will buy shirts with chili peppers on them that say, "I'm hot, try me!" and somehow Heavenly Father must have had bigger plans for us because we made it back across the border alive and still virgins! It was the best trip! Would I let my kids ever do that?! HECK TO THE NO!!

After Kyle died and some time had passed, Randi needed a little vacation so me, her and her sisters decided to all take our husbands and go on a trip together to Las Vegas. Last minute, all the husbands dropped out except for Jared! So me, Jared, Randi, Richelle and Regina all shared a hotel room together! That's where Jared got his nickname "Le Toilette" - cause he had to pee so many times! Poor chap had no idea what he was getting himself into - ha ha!
