JE'NUNUS!

Many years ago Jennifer and I decided our get togethers should be called the Je'nunus! Its been far to long since we have all been together - we just barely met Zach for the first time and he is 5 now! Yikes! We were both a little nervous that it would be awkward for the kids who have never met and more worried about Emma, Abby and Sidney - but in true awesome fashion they all hit it off and loved each other as if they hung out all the time! Zero time wasted between the older girls - to quote Emma, "you know one of the things I love about Abby - we pick up right where we left off no matter how much time has passed!" That's the definition of a true friend! It was only a 24 hour visit, but we certainly made the most of it! 2 runs to Sodalicious, glow in the dark capture the flag, just playing nerf guns in my house, swimming at grandmas and the movies! Miss them like crazy!!

PHS CHEER CAMP!

Do you know what the best part about doing sports through school?! As a parent I don't have to go to camps with them. They take a bus where ever they need to go and I am not allowed to go or stay - which makes it easier on the family you leave behind. Emma got to go to Perry's TSC cheer camp! She was so excited! They got assigned room mates and she was quite happy with hers. They were not allowed to have their phones during camp except during meal times. She was so busy and having so much fun she never called or texted. I told her that if this is how she thought college was going to be I wasn't going to pay for it! Ha! She assured me she would call me, but she was just so busy and having so much fun and wanted to soak it all in she didn't have time for me, but she did manage to squeeze in an 'I love you" - she was probably hoping that would buy her some points with me - it worked! Jared and I were so happy she was so happy, but then we missed that butt head! She didn't even take pics, but luckily I got a couple from the coaches! This year she won't be a flyer so she is back spot - the worst spot if you want pictures of your daughter - ha ha!

NATIONAL DANCE HONORS!

Emma, Eli and I headed to Vegas for dance nationals and Eli had a football tournament. We originally told the Raiders that Eli would not play in the tournament because I already had a roommate in Vegas and we didn't want to be paying for two hotel rooms at the same time. But last minute, they really needed him and agreed to keep him with them. They were even going to take him up there, but I thought it would be fun for him to drive with us and hang out with us that first night and then take him to his coach. The 3 of us settled into the jeep and headed off. It was a great drive! Got our room and then the Gooch's headed off to their show and we hit the town. Took Eli around to see some hotels, stopped by Carlos' Bakery - YUMMY!! and then hit up a tradition of California Pizza Kitchen inside the Mirage. Sadly we wanted to take Eli to Sugar, but it closed. Little did we know they reopened it at a different location, dang it!

That night Eli stayed with the Ely family and Emma and I headed back to our room. The next day Emma just had classes all day so I was able to leave and go watch Eli's football games. The next day they played in the championship game in the indoor arena inside the New Orleans Hotel. Eli loved it. Sadly, they came up short against the Hawaii team, but he still had a blast! Eli's team even ran into Michael Haynes from the NFL Hall of Fame

Kathryn and I spent our days by the pool, soaking in the sun and reading magazines. The girls spent the days dancing. At night we would grab dinner and watch the competitions.

On 4th of July, the Red Rock Resort had a firework show which was AWESOME!! Missed my boys those again on this holiday!

We all had the best time together! Loved our roomies and this dance nationals!
