Poor Tyson got up in the middle of the night and came in our bed and layed with us and then he decided to puke in our bed - don't worry - with my cat like reflexes I hopped out of bed and hurdled Jared so I didn't get any on me - I was gonna leave Jared behind like a fallen solider to protect myself, but shockingly he responded quite quickly himself and we both escaped unscathed! Later this morning Tyson was feeling much better and he came out to me in the kitchen and before he could ask me what he wanted to ask I said, "hey why don't you go take off your diaper and put on underwear," he responded with, "NO!! I am having diary right now!" Ha ha, love him!

ANCIENT GREECE OLYMPIC GAMES!
Today the 3rd graders participated in Ancient Green Olympic games and even got to dress in togas. Eli loved his day! After school this was our conversation:
Eli: you know what was surprising?
Me: what?
Eli: I didn't win the discus throw
Me: why is that surprising?
Eli: cause I throw frisbees all the time!

RECITAL VIDEO SHOOT!
Emma had the best time shooting the recital video with DC2. It was like a color run, but color dancing instead! She thoroughly enjoyed getting the colors thrown all over her!

RAVENS SPRING SEASON!
It was a little bit of a rough season for Eli - he is in a mental sports block right now and struggling with his confidence - he started out in baseball and in football very strong but has slowly petered out throughout the season. Then of course - the last week of football, Eli gets his mojo back and was unstoppable! Where was that all season kid?! Oh well, your parents and your coaches still love you! Thanks for a great season Coach Harley, Steve and Percy!

8th GRADE FORMAL!
Emma is so blessed to have such a great group of friends - she doesn't get to hang out with them that much because she is in different classes at school, different wards now than most of them and spends her time at DC2 - but when she does get to be with them - its a great time had by all. Emma and her friends met up for pictures, then they went to Paradise Bakery for dinner, headed to the dance, Emma said her group would start a lot of dance circles going and a lot of conga lines and then after they were all a hot sweaty mess, they left the dance and headed to Noelle's house for an after party of swimming, hot tubing and eating! She came home happy as could be and loved how much fun she had and loved how great everyone looked!

3rd GRADE ASSEMBLY!
Eli had his end of the year assembly! They sang songs and he played a xylophone - he was very proud of himself -it was cute! At the end, they gave out the awards - it was hilarious - for the last 2 years he got the music award so this year when they were announcing it - he pretty much was ready to stand up and take it, but it wasn't him - he looked over at me completely surprised - I had to laugh - enjoy a little piece of humble pie my love! When they were getting ready to announce the highest math grade, several kids around us starting whispering to each other, "it's Eli, it's Eli!" Sure enough, it was Eli - when he was walking back after accepting his award, kids were sticking their hands out for him to high five them - what the what?! He ain't no rockstar! ha ha! His teacher told me she was so surprised he didn't get the PE award - she couldn't believe. That kid is somethin else!

2nd GRADE FIELD TRIPS!
In April I got to chaperone Tyler's field trip, normally the twins will combine and so when we are on a field trip we get to be with both boys. This time Tyson did not want to come with us - it's not that he didn't like us, he was just tired of not going on a field trip with his class, I didn't realize that every time he is the one moving classes. So I stayed with Tyler's group and we said hi to Tyson when ever we saw him. We went to watch a 3D movie about creatures in the ocean - Tyler was hilarious, he would tell me how he could touch the animals, ya right!
Because Tyson wouldn't come with us, Mrs. Smith let me go on the field trip with him to the Butterfly exhibit. That was awesome and weird, because Tyler's class wasn't even going until the next day so we didn't get to see him at all. That morning as we were getting ready for school Tyson couldn't find the bright yellow shirt any where and he really wanted to wear it because the brighter the shirt, the more butterflies that would land on you. Turns out sneaky Tyler hid it from him so he could wear it the next day. I made him give it to Tyson and we just did a load of laundry that night so both boys could wear the shirt! Funny kids!
