EDDIE BASHA JR - THE WAX MUSUEM!

Emma had a project due for school and it was the 4th grade wax museum. This is really the first time I have had to help Emma with her homework ever, it did not go over very well. I am happy to report that we are still friends though.

They had to pick the name of a person off of a list that has been a big part in Arizona's history, research them, write a report about them, make a poster board about them and then dress up as them and stand still like a wax figure and wait for someone to push their button and then when they do, you have to say a little speech memorized about the person.

Emma picked Eddie Basha Jr because she told her teacher that I was good friends with Trey Basha and I would be able to hook her up. Yes, I am friends with Trey, but we are not tight. It was hard to do this report, there wasn't a whole lot of good information about Eddie out there. Luckily, Trey Basha is awesome and we emailed him and he came to Emma's class one morning and brought donuts and milk for the class and let Emma interview him there and then let the class ask him some questions as well. Emma loved it.

She got all the info she needed and finished her report. We were able to borrow a suit for the Tomlinsons and help her look like a man. I had to tell her that night how grateful I was she was a girl, because it is sure boring to get boys ready...no make-up, no jewelry, nothing, boring.

She did great at her wax museum and we are ever so grateful this dang project is over and grateful to all those who helped us!

I'm glad to finally hear of another 4th grader who has to do Famous Arizonian! Everyone else I talk to doesn't have to! Brandon's report is due this Friday and his wax museum is in April. He chose Geronimo!
