More school bus drama! Every day the bus picks Emma up right on time - 7:52am. This morning as usual, I drive Emma to the bus stop and we are a couple of minutes early and as we round the corner all we see is the tail end of the bus pulling away and leaving its nasty smoke in our face.
No biggie, we follow it to the next bus stop. Emma is so nervous she is going to miss it again that she opens the car door while we are still moving and starts to hop out. So after I finish yelling at her for trying to kill herself she runs to get in line and hop on the bus. As I watch her try and get on the bus I see kids running every where trying to make the bus on time - why because its about to leave the second bus stop when it should just barely be leaving the first bus stop. So myself and a few other moms stop and complain to each other how its too early and its not right but, whatever Elias and I head back home.
As I am driving home I see 4 kids standing at Emma's bus stop with puzzled looks on their face. I find out 2 of them don't have a way to school now so all 4 kids hop in my car (again, why are kids hoping in my car when I am stranger danger?!) and I drive them all to school.

I was going to drop them off at the parent drop off but then I decided I needed to talk to the bus driver. So we park and get out and start walking to school when I feel something gross on my hand and caked into my fingernails - I look and once again Elias pooped out of his diaper but this time it got me - it was caked on so thick that I literally had to shake it off into the street and continue on my way to talk to the bus driver but now I am even more angry because I have poop on me and I don't have a diaper bag because who brings that when they are only running their kid to the bus stop 30 seconds away.
So, I wait for all the kids to get off the bus and all I can hear is the bus driver shouting at the kids is "don't not push, scream, hit, kick", etc no friendly have a good day or anything. When all the kids get off he shuts the door - so I take my fist and pound on the door so he opens it and I (with attitude of course :) tell him he needs to stop leaving early and wait until 7:52am to leave which of course he responds with "I keep track of my time" and then it begins, I firmly let him know he did not leave on time, I followed him to the next 3 stops and I had to take a car full of kids which weren't mine to school because he didn't wait. I leave and get in the car to go home and clean up but before I get home guess what I find - bus driver man pulled over to the side of the road like usual smoking - which has never bothered me until today when I now believe he leaves early so he can have a longer smoke break.
So, I go home, take a picture of the poop for this post (there was a lot more poop but you have to remember I shook it off and cleaned up a bit before touching the camera), called Jared, my mom and another mom so she could call the bus transportation people with me and complain. Tomorrow I will be following the bus with the school districts phone number and bus route number on a pad of paper and handing it out to other moms to call as well if he leaves early again - moral of the story - don't mess with a stay at home mom with poop on her arms and fingers with nothing else to do but call and complain :)
