Thank you Aunt Jeanne for everything! Thank you for the thousands of times I stayed at your house growing up and just crashing there for 3 weeks with my kids so I could hang out with Jennifer! Thank you for still allowing me in your house even though we put a butt imprint dented into your wall! Thank you for the countless hours of Mexican Train Dominoes while Jennifer made us her special chicken sandwiches and we washed it down with Dr Pepper (even though yours was flat and not cold), thank you for all the matching pajama pants Emma and I had with the Fa'anunus! Thank you for the all the jam, especially the summer you let Emma help you and Eli drink it! Thank you for Emma's beautiful quilt, the burp clothes, the patterns you tried to send me so I could create my own but who are we kidding! Thank you for the eye rolls at me and Jennifer when we were cradking ourselves up and you had to be a respectable woman but secretly we knew you thoguht we were funny on the inside! Thank you for letting Jared an his brothers crash at your house on their roadtrip to Oregon! Thank you for keeping us safe when the crazy guy ran through your backyard and we ducked down inside your house! I could go on and on with memories of you....you were the best and I love you!
Funerals are always the worst! But the one thing I like about them is when they bring people together! I've been to 4 family funerals in 2 year, but at least I get to see some of my family each time! A quick trip to Califonria and back, visiting places of my past (Barlin Street, 1108 26th St, Vic's Ice Cream Shop, Farytale Town, Ronald Regan's old house where my dad used to deliver his newspapers to), laughing and making inappropriate comments with cousins (taking grandma/aunt jeanne's chickens home for Richelle, getting airport security to give Paul a hard time, making RJ and Richelle become bestie cousins for the weekend)...it's always good for my soul! Some of my cousins are some of my best friends...grqateful to the Sorensen legacy for making us be a tight knit group!
