LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Last day of school! Half day for everyone! The kids had such a great year this year. Emma juggled friends, 4.5 GPA, zero hour, online honors biology, an AP class, honors classes, cheer, dance, family and finished her personal progress. Jared and I often comment how much she amazes us and does so much more than we ever would have done and is better at it too! We loved our little carpool group, Emma, Anni Hall and Bailey Brown!

Eli had a phenomenal 4th grade year. He became really good buddies with Treyson, they pushed each other to do better, they kind to kids, they were athletic, smart and popular - a combination Mrs Palomarez says she never sees. They were the tops of every class. Eli came home every now again stressed over his math grade. He was doing 5th grade math, but if their grade ever fell below an A, they would get bumped down, so every once in a while he would beg to check his grades online and make sure he was still doing good! He finished the school year off with straight A's in the highest classes! We loved having Mrs. Palomarez as his teacher. She knew him more than me I think. She helped us fill out the request for teacher placement for 5th grade and the way she described how he excels and what he needs brought tears to my eyes, I love that a teacher loves my kid so much and knows him so well. She really pushed him to aim higher and excel more. She was exactly what he needed.

Tyler and Tyson were once again reuntied together in class. They were together in kindergarten and then we separated them after that, but felt like they needed to be back together again. We were right. They did amazing together. They don't need to sit by each other or even be in the same math or reading, but they for sure need to be in the same home room. They help each other without even realizing it. They also help each other after school on homework, maybe they even copied one another too - ha ha! I tried to stop it, but sometimes I just didn't care, cause they were getting it done! They both finished with all As and Bs and even bumped up levels in math and reading. The boys who started school so young and at the bottom are now finally on level and doing amazing! We will miss the texts and inside scoops from Mrs Tibbotts. Tyson even had a little crush on her daughter and would sit up in class and be the perfect student whenever she came into the room - too bad she is a 6th grader - ha ha!
