THE 2013 PUKES!

Last night at about 2am we were heard someone walking down the hallway and softly crying. I started to get up, but quickly laid back down when I saw Jared getting up (shhh, dont tell him my trick). He came back into our room with Tyler who was crying ever so softly and had actual tears coming down his cheeks. This never happens. We asked him what was wrong, but he didn't say anything so we just brought him into our bed and snuggled him the rest of the night.

In the morning we got up and got everyone ready and Eli told me his tummy didn't feel very well, but this has happened before and nothing ever came of up so I gave him the same pep talk I always give him and carried on with my morning. We just finished our morning prayers and were heading out the door to go to preschool when Tyler puked. That explains the crying last night, he didn't feel well. I cleaned him up and got him settled and looked at Tyson and asked him if he wanted to go to school by himself or stay home. He just stared back at me with no facial expression at all. Then the color slowly started leaving his face. Then I asked him if he was going to throw up and he took off the bathroom and puked.

After I got him all cleaned up and had both boys settled on the couch watching Disney channel and then I took the other two to the bus stop. Came home and about 15 minutes later there was a couple of knocks at my door and I could tell they were kid knocks. I wondered who was at my door. I opened it and it was Eli and Emma standing there. She was carrying Eli's backpack far away from her body and Eli had throw up all down the front of him. I asked what happened and Emma told me he threw up on the bus. I said, you mean at the bus stop? She said, no on the bus! The bus driver took a little detour and told Emma he would drive them as close to our house as he could and dropped them off at the end of our street and then drove the rest of the kids to school. AWESOME bus driver if I do say so myself. He will be getting cookies for sure.

I looked at Emma and told her she better just stay home too before I get a call from the nurse's office telling me to come and pick up Emma. Now I have all 4 kids home watching tv and chilling. Emma has requested that I make Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, "because in the movies it always makes everyone better!"

I say it's best if they all get it over with at once!! No one else got sick? I HATE the pukes! As if having sick kids isn't enough, you also have to clean up barf.
