So a couple of weeks ago there was a huge truck with a crane parked on our street and Bubbas and I went outside to look at it. He was fascinated with it. He stared at it and kept calling it a firetruck the whole time and wouldn't come back inside until it left. So we decided he should take a field trip to a fire station. We called our good friend and he hooked the kiddo up.
Elias got to try the clothes on, get inside the truck, came home with fireman freebies and he even got to ride around inside the truck!
The boys had a great time. Eli was shy there and kept his fingers in his mouth and didn't say a whole lot but he REFUSED to let anyone take his hat off and as soon as he came home he literally ran up to me and showed me his stickers, book and his hat!! Yay for Bubbas lucky day!

what a cool idea! thats awesome you took him there, im sure he loved it! i have a friend who does fire fighting over the summer, maybe i can hook him up with a job ;-)
What fun parents you guys are! Eli looks so cute in the fireman costume. And he looks just like Jared in that 2nd picture! We had a good time with you guys tonight, even if we did freeze our butts of a little bit. :)
