WHIT'S WEDDING AND EMMA'S 19TH BIRTHDAY!

 Whitney Parry got married to Ben Clements on Emma's 19th birthday! It worked out great because then we got to have Emma home for her birthday. The night before the wedding we did a rehearsal dinner at Sodalicious and had Rudy's BBQ and Emma and I did all the drinks at cookies at Sodalicious. Then the day of the wedding Emma and I went and waited outside the Temple for them and then went to their house and helped get everything ready for the reception. The Parrys were very sweet to remember it was Emma's birthday and sang to her, told her happy birthday and even had the DJ announce her and play a song. We had so much fun as a family at the wedding reception. We danced, ate, laughed and made memories to last a lifetime. I really enjoyed being there that week and helping to put everything together, helping Payton with her dress, cleaning Whitney's wedding dress, etc. It's best when you get to help those you love. Jared and I loved being able to go to her endowment session (first time we had been in a year due to covid closures) and getting to be the witness couple! 

The next day we spent it at a BMX park for Hank Halibson's birthday, then we spent the afternoon and evening watching Eli play baseball and then on Sunday (2 days after Emma's actual birthday) we celebrated with dinner, an ice cream cake and presents and then Emma and I watched a romcon! It was the best weekend together as a family! 

GIRLS TRIP TO SCOTTSDALE!

 Michelle called me and invited me to go on a girls trip. Mostly, I say no to those because it just seems to dang stressful to figure out everything getting covered while I am gone...but when she told me the dates - which was a day after we moved into Rj's house and I would get to relax from packing up my old house and moving into Rj's - I gave her an immediate YES!!! It was perfect to get away after the last crazy 2 months of insanity and go be with a bunch of girls and laugh and enjoy ourselves! Pickleball, shopping, eating, laughing, electric bike riding, more eating, great girlfriends, did I mention eating?! Sign me up! 

(When I told Jared about me going, he said, "let me get this straight...so you are moving me into your brother's house and then leaving me as soon as we move in?!" that's right sucker!)

GOODBYE ALOE HOUSE!

 The last pictures of the house we lived in for just over 15 years! We raised our kids in this house! It has a lot of special memories for us! It was hard to say goodbye - even for the boys! They fought over who would be the last one to walk out the door! And for months afterwards we would do random drivebys past it and get irritated at the new owners and how cluttery they made the front of the house. And they backdated our house about 10 years...they redid the cabinets, ripped out wood, etc. I wish we would have sold it to a younger couple. Good bye 2441 E Aloe Pl, Chandler, AZ 85286. DEACONS HIKE!

 The deacons got up early Saturday morning and went on a hike in Superior. The twins didn't really want to go at first because they didn't want to get up early, but when we let them know their choices were hiking with Mikey and their friends or helping us move - they quickly chose hiking! Of course they ended up having the best time! Punks!
