ELI'S TOURNAMENT!

Sadly, I missed Eli's game on Sunday, I only made it to one on Saturday. I missed the first game because I was at Emma's cheer competition and then we all made it to his last game that night, but then the next day I let the other kids sleep in and go to Grove 2nd ward and I had to go to work since I took off on Saturday. Jared kept blowing up my phone with messages about how amazing Eli was doing. He his a hard line drive to short stop and they couldn't handle it so 2 runners came in and scored and Eli got on base. That caused us to go from losing to winning. Then with Eli safe on base he was hyping up the team and getting everyone fired up - that was of course after his coach got kicked out of the game! We missed a really good one. But what I am most happy about is not that they won the tournament, but that Eli did good. He also had an amazing dive catch. Thank heavens for the photographer who captured all these moments for me to see!

PAPER CLAWS!

What did your kid learn at school today?! Mine learned how to make paper claws! But he didn't learn how to unbuckle or open the door with them on so he might be sitting out in the car awhile!  #thiskid

BROWNS FOOTBALL FALL SEASON!

The season started out a little rough. We took some pretty good losses. That didn't stop these boys. They just kept pushing through. It for sure paid off! The day of the Tournament they kicked butt! We won the first game and the boys were so excited. We thought we better take pictures now while they are so pumped and happy. Then we went on to play 2 more games and won those too! Then we were in the championship game and run ruled the other team! These boys were unstoppable today! They were awesome! Not sure if I loved the win more or the fact that these boys are all such good buddies! Tyson and Tyler were a force to be reckoned with! They hardly came out of the games at all - their defense was on fire!

SENIOR NIGHT!

I can't believe this night has finally come. It's the night they celebrate all their seniors on football and pom and cheer. I totally got emotional and stressed before hand and the boys were driving me nuts and Jared had to yell at them to behave and knock it off and that this was a special night for Emma and mom. I am not sure why I cried so much, probably because its just reminding me this is the beginning of the end of an era. Both sets of grandparents came! We had to get there early before the game so we could hang out on the track waiting for the big moment. Then we lined up with Emma and got in our spot and waited to be announced over the PA system and escort her across the field. She was on cloud 9. It was a very happy and special day for her. It was pretty cold that night so the grandparents only made it till half time but that was plenty ok with us. We took lots of pictures by her senior banner. Then after the game we took some with her friends who were still at Perry. Then we took all the kids to crumble at 11pm for a late night treat together to celebrate our girl! Can't believe football season is coming to end Emmerson, stop growing up please!
