STIXX SPRING SEASON FARM A!

Tyler and Tyson got a lot more comfortable this season with Farm A! They still have lost their love for the game. We haven't given up on them just yet, but we are going to make them try one more season and take it from there! Tyler plays according to his attitude - if he isn't into it - he plays like that. Tyler has such natural ability too - we just need him to find what he is passionate about and he will be amazing!! Tyson has pure determination. He was determined to get a homerun. I hoped he would - but he is probably one of the littlest boys in the whole divison so it would take a lot to get it passed the other team and run around all the bases. BUT I forget we are dealing with Tyson. The game that Jon came out to take pictures of happened to be the game that Tyson did it! He smacked that ball all the way to the fence. It went over the heads of the outfielders. He made it easily to third base, but Coach Jeremy knew how much he wanted that home run and he knew how fast Tyson would go to score it so he waved him on and the little nugget did it - he made his first home run!!! IGNITE SPRING SEASON FARM AA

Another baseball season for Eli in the books! He played a lot of out field - mostly left field, pitcher and first base. He was always the first batter! I think Coach Matt likes him hitting first because (knock on wood) he usually gets on base and nothing excited Eli more than stealing bases so the kid just needs to get on first and then he will steal his way home no problem! He played for the first time at BLD (Big League Dreams) - he loved it there and so did we. He wanted to win a championship ring so bad - they fell short each time, but got really close! One of his tournaments he was pitcher and hit a legit home run! BEST. GAME. EVER!I have the stats of that game saved below! Here are some pictures that Jon got for us! The team ended the season in 2nd place!  Love the Ignite team and the coaches!

FIRST BOYS TRIP TO NATE'S CABIN!

The boys took their first Boys Only trip to Nate's cabin. They were bummed and were hoping to leave right after school on Wednesday, but then all the boys ended up with baseball games that night so they had to wait and leave Thursday morning - AND.....they were hoping to stay till Sunday, but they had games on Saturday too...so I made them come home for their games, plus I wanted a date night Saturday night with Jared, but after sitting in the movie theater for Pirates of the Caribbean to starts - I ended up running home and grabbing the kids to join us - ha ha!

The boys had a great time at the cabin. They used their knives and whittled sticks, shot guns, went to cub camp with our ward, rode quads, and just enjoyed the pine trees and the outdoors - I did hear their was a rousing game of wiffle ball all night long until it was bedtime. They even caught crawdads and cooked them and ate them - Tyson was the only one out of my crew to try one, but Jared assures me he didn't even get enough to taste - which was good because I forbid my boys from eating those nasty things!

I got some cute texts from Eli so I had to save them. That kid! The boys had the best time and are already begging to go back!
