The twins were on a summer basketball team for the first time - THEY LOVED IT!!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself too! The games were inside in AC and they went by super fast! Plus who doesn't love watching their little white boys play a little scrappy basketball! Tyson loved grabbing the ball and fighting for it so it would be a jump ball. Tyler just took the whole game so seriously. They both would end the game with red faces. The last game Tyson was fouled and got to take 2 free throws, I was so nervous for him, all the players had to leave the court so it was just him and the 2 refs, he nailed both of them - his team went crazy! I loved watching Tyler try, try and try again until his shots would go in - he was determined and his determination would eventually pay off. They only lost 1 game the whole season. They did fantastic and I think I am just as sad that the season is over as they are. Can't wait till next time!

FRESHMAN CHEER!
The beginning of Emma's freshman cheer life has been busy and crazy! They had their first freshman home football game. Jared and I had so much fun watching her. They were a little rocky the first half of the game but as soon as halftime came, their dance was awesome and then the second half of the game was fantastic - the girls got rid of their nerves and they pulled it all together! The following week was the Lil' Puma clinic. Emma had a lot of fun working with little girls in our ward (The Jolley girls and the Matsen girls) and then cheering during the first half of the varsity football game. She realizes the huge difference between a freshman football crowd and a varsity football crowd - ha ha! Then the following week was Homecoming so freshman got to cheer during the first half of that game! She loved it! She was so cute and smiling so big and really engaging the crowd. The cheer girls each had to take a time slot and work the cheer booth during the carnival. Then last week she got to cheer at the Unified Flag football game (thats flag football for kids with special needs). This was the sweetest game ever. Both schools cheered for each other, the players were happy for each other and it was just awesome for her to be apart of that. Because the game was so short - the cheer girls decided to go grab In-N-Out afterwards together. We are so happy she is having such a great time and she is working so hard - we couldn't be more proud of her!

FOOTBALL TOURNEY IN FLAGSTAFF!
It's finally Eli's turn to travel for a sport! The boys were SUPER excited!! They got to go up to Flagstaff for 2 nights so Eli could play in a football tournament. What is more thrilling than a hotel stay?! Nothing according to these boys! Eli played great and his team did awesome! We ended up losing the game before the championship to a real tough team. Eli wasn't that sad about the loss though, he was having to much fun playing football, eating at Native New Yorker, Cocos and hanging out with his buddies! The twins are amazing kiddos - they get dragged all over for sports and dance and someone end up having so much fun entertaing themselves and never complaining! Eli had so much fun and hopes to do this again next year! Go Raiders!

CARDINALS VS BRONCOS GAME!
Jared is funny sometimes - He won tickets to the Cardinals game from work, but he only got 2 tickets and Eli had a jam packed day of sports so Jared was bummed he was going to have to say no to the tickets - then I kindly reminded him he had 2 other sons that he could take and yes, he could separate them. So he took the tickets and then I told him to contact his work to see if he could get one more, well they didn't have one more ticket to give him, but they did help him buy a ticket right by his seats so he could take the twins and they could all sit together. The boys got new Cardinals jerseys and then they went do to Intel and go to ride a chartered bus, get dinner and then go to the game. They were right in the front section of the stadium right behind the end zone. The started off a little boring because most of the action was at the Broncos end, but as soon as Cardinals started winning the boys were loving being right there, seeing them kick for the extra points, they could feel the fire that was going off when the team entered the stadium, they got their usual cotton candy and treats at the game - they had a blast with their daddy and a made a special memory! Love these crazies!
