Emma's version of the trick-or-treat song..."trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat, I don't care, I'll get candy from your underwear!"

Bubbas wasn't so "bad to the bone" when he was getting candy at a house and the witch at his eye level started cackling at him

When you walk behind pretty girls trick-or-treating you might get a little treat :)

Nate, Jenn and Brylee came by during Family Home Evening to get some computer help so we decided to all carve pumpkins

All in all it was a great Halloween, but my favorite part was watching Elias trick-or-treat at our neighbors house and he held his bag out and they put 1 handful of candy into and he didn't leave, so they put another handful in it and he still didn't leave so I took his bag and tried to get him to follow me, finally they gave him candy in each hand and then he turned around and left quickly with a dum-dum in his mouth. My second favorite part...when the kiddos went to bed and Jared and I picked out the good candy and ate it :)

MHS REUNION TOP 6 LIST!

The top 6 reasons (that I can say on a blog) I enjoyed the Mesa High 1997 Reunion!

In no particular order...
#1 - Totally blending in at Dos Gringos; the 4 of us didn’t stick out at all with our sleeves on our shirts, choking on the smoke, or being 100% sober.

#2 - Clipboard-of-Adresses; the dental floss holding the pen together was great!

#3 - Hearing wounded war stories from drunks at Dos

#4 - Seeing guys who I thought were so hot in high school and being glad I married my hot husband instead of them (I wont mention any names on here but call me if you're are curious, ha ha)

#5 - Wishing I had worn booty shorts and pink furry leg warmers with pink suede high heels to the reunion instead of a boring shirt and jeans

#6 - Laughing and gossiping with the girls; just like old times!

BUZZ CUT TIME!

Ok so we missed the "summer buzz cut time" that all the boys get but how about a "winter buzz cut"...all the cool kids are doing it :)

OCTOBER BREAK OVER!

2 1/2 weeks of October break is finally over. Emma went back to school today - yay! I couldnt sleep in today - boo. Emma had a great break, nothing too fancy but she got to stay up late every night and watch Halloween movies on Disney channel, spend the night at Maddy's house, play with her friends, get spoiled by Grandpa Rodgers, go on some little outings with the family and we finished the break with a trip to Schnepf Farms.

MY FIRST YEAR!

My First Year...

I entered the world on the 7th of October
6 days late, 7 pounds 8 ounces, a day my parents
will always remember.

Those first few months I didn't do much at all
My parents were told, "Enjoy this time while he is
small."

I had 8 teeth by the time I was 8 months old
"Keep your fingers out of his mouth," people were
told.

At 7 months old I was crawling by my own might
11 months old I learned to walk, left foot then
right.

As you can see I've had a busy year
Hard to believe my 1st birthday is already here.

4 DAYS SHORT!

We almost made it to his first birthday without him being too mischievous but today he had a little bit of fun. He's figured out that there is more to toilets then just disposing of human waste in them and he has also discovered that emptying a full box of wipes gets the ladies in his life (me and Emma) all fired up!

IT AIN'T NO DISNEYLAND!

Ok so Emma's October break started this week and we decided we shouldnt spend the money to go to Disneyland or Rocky Point, so instead we thought we would go to the Arizona Science Center (whoopee). Eli loved doing anything that got him out of the stroller as you can see!

Emma loved it when we left for lunch and found a house that was built in 1899 and is now "Teeter House". They have "Children's Tea" which consists of a variety of finger sandwiches, fruit, lemonade and a cookie and cream. When they brought her lunch she said "Mom, this is the best day EVER!"

The highlight of our day was when we sucked it up and decided to pay more money to go see the "The Deep Sea 3D" at the IMAX there. During the movie Elias just sat as still as could be on my lap with his glasses on and tried to reach out and grab the jelly fish, octopus tentacles, etc with this little tiny fingers and when the sharks would take a bite at us his whole body would jump - it was great :)
