YEARLY FAMILY PICTURES!

I ruined them this year. All that hard work on the outfits and my hair was horrible. I thought it being down and straight would be fine - makes me look like a pig face. I hate myself in them. But the rest of my family looks fantastic!!

WILLYERD FAMILY REUNION!

We had a last minute Willyerd Family reunion. I love seeing all my family. We missed a lot of people, but for just a couple of weeks of notice, there were a lot there! My kids were not thrilled to go - I understand - they don't really know anyone, but they ended up having a great time! We met at Tumbleweed park and the kids all ran around and played and we all talked to each other. Then we ate Grandpa's enchiladas, The Washburn boys played a couple of Christmas songs blue grass style, the kids all did a pinata,  Grandma's kids each talked about her for a minute except for my dad of course - instead he told Richard he could take his time because he knew he would! Then a bunch of us went to the field and played flag football after they were done with wiffle ball/baseball. Flag football was probably one of the highlights - it was so much fun!

Then that night we all met back at grandma's house and put on a movie in the backyard for everyone to watch on the big screen and had movie theater popcorn, red vines, brownies and hot chocolate! Some of us chit chatted inside. It was so fun to see everyone!

THANKSGIVING!

Thanksgiving weekend was great as usual. The day before Thanksgiving I was all set to go to the twins class and help with their Thanksgiving feast, but my car broke and it had to get towed. I will go into all the yelling I had to do on the phone, but needless to say I missed most of the activities, but at least I was there for a little bit and got to see them!

Eli's class finished reading the BFG and so they enjoyed a fizzy frobscottle drink together!

We got up and we all went and did the Turkey Trot. We were so proud of the kids this year. Eli finished in around 20 minutes, Tyson finished in 21:45, Tyler was a few seconds after him and then Emma came in a minute or two later! Tyson is the only one with an official time because he really wanted the shirt and running bib! These kids all ran the 2 miles without stopping and by themselves! They all kicked butt! We were especially proud of Tyler because he hates running long distance and especially proud of Emma - man cheer has done so much for her - she never has been able to do this but running miles and bleachers each week has made a huge difference!  Jared and I both did the 10k. Jared beat the turkey this year! While we were running, Emma and Maddie were in charge of the boys and they went around to all the booths and got all the free loot they could and got themselves some massages - funny kids!

After the Turkey Trot, we went home and made pies and cranberry sauce and then we headed over to my parents house to have Thanksgiving with everyone. It was a great day filled with family, food and fun!

This was my first year not doing ANY black Friday shopping - well at least not in the middle of the night or early in the morning (Jared and I did go out that night around dinner time to a couple of stores for the boys) but the boys have been bugging me to take them to Sports Clips to get their haircuts like Tyson did so we hit that up first thing in the morning - they loved it!

Then we had Conner and Caleb's birthday party so all the cousins could get together and play for a bit!
